Outside, Humphrey Heritage Village is a collection of four historically significant buildings, including the only remaining 1893 U.S. Land Run office. Inside, you will discover what it was like to be in the saddle astride your galloping horse racing toward that Land Run office. GOVERNMENT SPRINGS PARK – Owen K. Garriott & 7th Street. Not your typical park. This is where the Oklahoma Land Run and Chisholm Trail meet. Interpretive public art tells the tale of the Land Run at this historic Chisholm Trail watering hole. And who expects a waterfall on the prairie? Enter the trophy room inside this unique home and you’re off to Africa, Alaska or one of the Midgley’s many other wild game destinations.
