Third Win in Four Rounds for Galfer USA Rider Anderson

Oxnard, Calif. – January 27, 2014 – Just four rounds into the Monster Energy AMA
Supercross season, and the Galfer USA sponsored riders are already showing their
consistency. In 450SX, Justin Brayton earned another top five for JGRMX, while
Jason Anderson earned his third 250SX win of the season riding the Rockstar Energy
Racing KTM.

Justin Brayton, No. 10 (Credit: JGRMX)
Justin Brayton did not disappoint in the 450 main, riding his No. 10 JGRMX Yamaha
YZ450F to fifth. Brayton has been incredibly consistent in the opening four rounds,
never finishing lower than sixth. Josh Grant improved on his finish at Anaheim two
weeks ago, finishing 11th on the No. 33 JGRMX Yamaha.

Andrew Short, No. 29 (Credit: BTO Sports KTM)
BTO Sports’ Andrew Short has also been a model of consistency, staying inside the
top ten so far this season. He was 10th at Oakland, riding the No. 29 KTM 450 SX-F
Factory Edition.
Ivan Tedesco, No. 9 (Credit: Rockstar Energy KTM)
Ivan Tedesco stayed steady in Oakland to finish 12th on the No. 9 KTM 450 SX-F. He
was followed across the line by Mike Alessi on the No. 800 Moto Concepts Suzuki
RM-Z450. Alessi was only 21st at the start of the race, and his finish was a marked
improvement after being outside the top 15 in the last two rounds.
250SX
Rockstar Energy Racing’s Jason Anderson earned his third win in only four races,
making the 250 main the most dramatic race of the night. Anderson was running in
second on his No. 17 KTM 250 SX-F on the final lap, when race leader Dean Wilson
stalled. Anderson shot by and held onto the lead for yet another last-lap pass for the
win.

Anderson is once again in possession of the red plate, and even more importantly,
he has returned to the top of the championship standings, with 93 points over Cole
Seely’s 87.
Jake Canada posted his best finish of the season with 11th on the No. 66 51 Fifty
Honda CRF 250. Dakota Tedder continued his recent success, finishing 13th on the
No. 83 Team Tedder Kawasaki KX 250F.
