Dallas Area Mothers’ Club President’s Wrap Adios, Au Revoir, Farewell, "arrivederci", Happy Trails This school year is ending and I too will be wrapping up my President’s notebook and passing it on to the capable hands of Stacey Vertin. Stacey has worked side by side with me throughout the past year and she has several new and fresh ideas for the upcoming year. I can’t wait to see how the Moms’ Club progresses. I know it will be fun whatever the new officers present. It has been my honor to work with and get to know all the women of this club. What I love most about this group is how easy going everyone has been. It really is about the girls. And what a special group of girls Tri Delt recruits. They are friends, leaders and servants to the community. I look forward to seeing you next year at the Moms’ Club Socials. Carol Kerwin [Date] Valentine Social was a great success! Thanks Pamela Work for chairing ChaThanksmpagne Benefit and hosting this Tea great Moms’ Club social. Our girls loved their Valentines!!!!! Thanks to Mary Kay Thomas for chairing the Benefit Tea. It was a perfect day and a perfect venue at the beautiful home of Debra Miller. I would like to thank all of the moms who served on the board of the Mothers’ Club this year. You have made my job so much fun. I hope you will continue to serve and add value wherever you can. You are what make the club a success. We need everyone’s talents and participation to continue supporting our Tri Deltas. 2 The The Mothers’ Club 2015 Tri Delta 2015 Graduating ΔΔΔ Mothers’ ClubGraduates Daughters Anne Davis is the daughter of Leslie Davis of University Park who has served on the Mothers’ Club board for the past three years. "After graduation, Anne will be studying for the CPA exam this summer and begin working for KPMG in August. Graduation has been bittersweet and it will be very hard to move back to Texas after living in the Alabama Tri Delta house with my best friends. At a school where I knew very few, Tri Delta allowed me to make lifelong friends, and for that I will always be grateful. Being a Tri Delta and getting to visit the hospital has also grown my passion for St. Jude. I look forward to continuing philanthropic works and supporting St. Jude whenever possible in the future." ê é The daughter of Valerie Dannals of Dallas, MARY BLAIR DANNALS graduated May 2,2015 Magna Cum Laude from The University of Alabama with a major in Psychology and minor in Nutrition. Before attending graduate school she hopes to work a year or two in her field. The perfect job would be working with adolescent anxieties and eating disorders. We so appreciate the sisters, family and home that DDD provided for her these last four years and look forward to a lifetime of sisterhood. 3 KATHERINE FRANCIS is a Δ Δ graduate from Vanderbilt University and the daughter of Kristi Francis of Dallas. After spending my summer in Nashville, I'll be moving to Washington D.C. in September to partake in the Falls Church Fellows Program. Tri Delt has been my home for the past four years, and I could not have made it through college without my Tri Delt family. The acceptance and love I received from my Tri Delt sisters was incomparable, and we will be lifelong Δ Tina Gutierrez Tina is a graduate of The University of Southern California and daughter of Connie Tankersley of Coppell. Tri Delta has provided me with a lifelong support system and lifelong friends. The bond and memories formed over the years in the chapter have truly changed my life. I am so thankful for the years I had growing and learning from such wonderful girls around me. They are inspiring and pushed me to always be a great representative of Tri Delta. I am blessed to still have so many best friends from my chapter and will never forget the adventures we shared! I will be working in the non-profit industry now that I have graduated during my time between undergrad and law school. Sincerely and Fight On! 4 Morgan Isles Morgan is the daughter of Kim Isles of Heath and a graduate of the University of Texas. During the past four years, we have been blessed to get to know many of the parents and young ladies of Tri Delta. We consider them some of the most beautiful, intelligent, bold, kind, caring, friendly and loving young women we have experienced. Also the Texas Tri deltas rock burnt orange better than any girls I have ever seen! It has been a blessing and a privilege for Morgan to be a Tri delta at University of Texas-Austin. Morgan is moving to Dallas Texas after graduation. She will be continuing her education pursuing a Doctor of Chiropractic degree through Parker Allison Kelsoe ALLISON is a UT graduate and her Mom, Laura Kelsoe of Dallas has been a valued officer in the Moms’ Club for past 2 years. Allison graduated with a B.S. in Public Relations from the Communication School at UT and she is interviewing for jobs in NYC and Dallas and Austin. She said one of her favorite things about college life was living in the Tri Delt house at UT-‐she just loved the whole experience. She also felt that being House Manager gave her a lot of experience working with people and she learned so much. 5 Elizabeth Kidd The daughter of Ann Kidd of Dallas, Elizabeth is a Texas Ex. She will be attending the University of Denver in the fall where she will be working on her Masters in psychology. She hopes to work in the Counseling field when she graduates. We thank her mother Ann for serving as the Treasurer of the Mothers’ Club for the past two years. Riley Roberts - University of Alabama MEGAN LETHRIDGE Daughter of Kathy Lethbridge of Highland Park and University of Kansas graduate, Megan is starting her career in arts administration as the full time Assistant to the Founder and Artistic Director at the Wichita Grand Opera. Tri Delta showed her the importance of participating in philanthropy and encouraged many leadership roles at KU including representing Tri Delta as a recruitment counselor for the KU Panhellenic Association. Isabel is the daughter of Debra Miller of Dallas. Isabel Claire Miller University of Texas The Tri Delt experience for Isabel has been all about friendships. She has made many life long friends and will always cherish The many that she has shared with her fellow sisters. From laughter to studying to sharing daily activities, Isabel Will always remember her days as a Tri Delt with great joy. Kimberlee Staffieri is a graduate from the University of Texas and her mom; Kristie Staffieri of Dallas has been an invaluable member, alumni and officer of this club for the past 4 years. Kimberlee says the best thing about being a Tri Delt is meeting so many wonderful friends who are now her lifelong sisters. 7 Tiffany Work is a graduate from the University of Texas and past president of her chapter. Her Mom Pamela Work of University Park has been on the moms’ club board for the past four years and has been a dear friend to us all. They will both be missed! Tiffany returns to Dallas for the summer while evaluating options to begin her career or further her education. She would like to continue working in the medical field. Ready to FLY!!
