Finding Your IP Address
Finding Your IP Address
You can easily find the IP address assigned to the Sorenson VP-200 that you use.
Just follow the instructions below.
Step 1.
Start at the Home screen. Select the Settings button as shown below.

Select the Public IP button as shown below.

Step 4.
On the next screen, you will find the IP address in the selected field. In the example
shown below, the selected field is the top one named “Auto-Detected.”

Step 5.
Write down the IP address shown on the screen so you can give it to your family,
friends, or business contacts. Your address works like a phone number. Be sure to
check regularly to see if the IP address has changed because your internet provider
may change the address assigned to your phone line or cable box.
Step 6.
Press the Cancel key on the remote control three times to return to the Home
screen where you can dial outgoing calls.

Dialing Calls by IP Address
You can dial any videophone if you know the IP address that is assigned to that
videophone. Just follow the instructions below.
Step 1.
Start at the Home screen. Enter the IP address in the Dial field as shown below. You
must use the Dot key on the remote control to enter the dot characters. If you do
not correctly enter the dots, the IP address will not work to dial a call.

Select the VP dialing button as shown below to dial the call.

Step 3.
The VP-200 will then dial the call as shown below. Proceed with your call as you
would normally do.

Videophone Login Problems
You may see a “Videophone Login” message appear on the VP-200 screen. If you do,
just follow the instructions below.
Step 1.
Press the Cancel key on the remote control to go to the Home screen where you
can make calls by dialing by IP address.
