Beatboxing developed as a method to imitate different musical instruments and tones using only the human mouth, voice, and throat. Today, beatboxing has become more widely recognised and accepted as a musical art form, and has brought its influence both to the music industry and marketing industry. A single beatboxer can instantly transform from a sophisticated larynx acrobatics into a complete music band with drummer, bassist and vocal DJ. The mystery of human beatboxing is reflected in the various entertainment industries, be it pop icon Justin Timberlake, Bobby Mc Ferrin, or Michael Winslow from Police Academy. Various TV programs have evolved their schedule to include the theme of vocal percussion as a mainstay. 3 HUMAN BEATBOXING & POP MUSIC BEAT BOX TODAY 4 BEATBOX BATTLE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP CONTEST QUALIFICATION Preliminary Events - Country Battles Each competitor must qualify in his home country for the official World Cup in advance.
