atmosphere and adds avrasion. in ´percdax" cold,
hard percussion is layered over a bed of warm
dub. closer "moddax" errs on the eerie. it skulks, is
full of sticky bleeps and the result is unnervingly
dubbed out. all three track titles share the same
suffix and if this indicates that they also share one
quality it´s that they´re best heard in the glinting
shadows of a club just before day break.

side tracker ´Mosös´ has the intensity and mood of
a trippedout psychedelic gathering of imaginary

´Move Me´ is Philogresz latest gem, which is
pushing the grooves with his organic ?eld
recordings. He has recorded his finger snaps and
hand claps to add a sparkling realism to his latest
experimentation. Compositionally rich and
satisfying, something unique and again pushing
the limits of his craft. Remixes come from Ron
Deacon (Farside) and Philogresz fellow from
Cologne, Mathias Schaffhäuser (Ware). Deacon
takes the track to a different level, using almost
only the vocals of the original and adding lots of
space which reminds you of the mighty DJ
Sprinkles (Mule Musiq). Deacon´s second mix,
which will be digital only, is the counterpart and
puts the focus 100% to the club. Finally
Schaffhäuser´s rework completes the package
with a lovely techy interpretation, still keeping the
organic vibe of the original. It de?nitely proves his
huge reputation in the House and Techno scene.

After several hot tunes on Worthy’s Anabatic
imprint, Birmingham´s Tom Flynn joins the ranks
of the dirtybird crew. I´ve battle tested the A-side
of this record all around the world. "Catch That
Bird" is a rare mix of deep rooted funk whilst also
sounding like a Caribbean jungle track pitched
down to 126. My favorite! I´d play this EP just on
db042
the strength of the A-side but i feel like a lot of
dirtybir
attention will also be given to the B-side called
"Rhode Island". This is a classic piece of deep
house with all the melodic elements of a dirtybird
jam. Tom sent me at least 7 tracks before i signed
these two so the guy is certainly prolific and I
expect to hear quite a bit more from this up and
comer this year.

The next release from Audioware Recordings is a
splitt EP and comes from the very talented Djs and
Producers ´Pikaya´ and Ion Ludwig and Mical
Rhebess aka. Faceflash from Osession is the first
Release from Pikaya for Audioware. After their
output on Cadenza, Meander Music and
Grubenstrasse Zuerich they deliver a masterpice,
a very groovy house Track. The Beatstucture is
smooth and funky and swings along with some

soft analog chord melodies wich makes it warm
