4 BM‐3000 User Manual 3b. HDMI Connection BM‐3000 can identify ONLY One Video Input (whichever plug‐in first) automatically. Either it is AV (TV) input or HTMI input. To keep both Video Inputs shown, follow these steps: ‐ Plug in all the wire, (Power & AV cable ‐ Yellow, White, Red cable) ‐ if you use tablet, plug internet cable into LAN port ‐ if you use 19" Touch Monitor, plug in VGA cable & Touch Screen cable ‐ Do not plug in HTMI yet. ‐ Turn on BM‐3000, let it run till the music play ‐ Then, Plug in HTMI cable, switch your TV input to HTMI to check ‐ Done, now you can have both HTMI and AV on, you can switch to either one. If you plug both in before you turn on BM‐3000, the machine more likely to read only HTMI. In this case, when you navigate your TV input back to AV, the screen won't show anything even if your AV cable are plug in correctly. Default HDMI & AV Setting: ‐ This function allows you to navigate both HDMI and AV, but remember to plug in only AV to your TV first If both HTMI and AV connect to TV and KOD, please follow these steps: 1. Press “System” button on remote control to direct you to System/Setting 2. Enter Password: (default PW: 347437) 3. Use “Left/Right” button move to page 4/5 4. Use “Up/Down” Key to navigate to “HDMI&AV” 5. Select 480i, 720p, 1080i, or 1080p for HDMI quality. If set “HDMI &AV  AUTO”, it will use HTMI as priority. 6. After any changes, just simply exit the system and the new setting will automatically saved. 3c. Quick Starting Guide Basic Karaoke Machine set up: Required: ‐ BM‐3000 Karaoke System ‐ Basic set of Microphone ‐ Television 1. Connect AV cable (Yellow/Red/White) into BM‐3000 AV port 2. Preparation: * Please convert the DVD series/Movie/TV shows video as a movie file (Support Format: VOB, MKV, AVI, MP4, MPEG2, WMV) * Please note that BM‐3000 is a Karaoke player, not a Karaoke generator. Your music files have to be Karaoke version (2 audio channels) in order to toggle from vocal to non‐vocal in BM‐3000. If the music is just a MTV (1 audio channel), then it cannot be switch between vocal to non‐vocal when you record into BM‐3000 B. With WIFI Extender, you can hook up BM‐3000 and iPad/Android easily. 1. Setup your WIFI Extender to connect with WIFI router* 2. After WIFI Extender was assigned an IP Address, connect it to BM‐3000 with an Ethernet cable (not included in the package, you can use a short Ethernet cable) 3.
