Assured Neace Lukens may be a new name
to South Carolina, but they are not new to
insurance. Founded in 1991 and headquartered in
Louisville, Ky., Assured Neace Lukens has created
an environment of consultative professionals who
have the tools and resources of a national firm, but
provide the personal touch and local servicing needs
of their clients.
By being part of the larger entity AssuredPartners,
Assured Neace Lukens has been able to attract
great South Carolina firms to join the organization
starting with First Carolina in 2012. They’ve since
added reputable partners including Davis-Garvin,
Gosnell, First Palmetto and Premiere Coastal. This
has allowed an expanded footprint with offices in
Columbia, Charleston, Pawley’s Island, Murrells
Inlet and Bluffton.
The unique acquisition strategy provides reward
and perpetuation for the agency principal as well
as resources and capital to strengthen the existing
foundation. This approach is contrary to most
acquisitions which focus on centralization, staff
reduction and efficiency at all costs.
Since the initial acquisition in 2012, the South
Carolina operation has experienced additions to
leadership, strategic staffing and structure with
mentoring and incentive for individual growth
and education for all employees. The addition
of several insurance producers, a comprehensive
wellness program woven into the daily routine as
well as a quarterly philanthropy initiative have all
contributed to the contagious and positive culture
that is recognizable in the marketplace. This is not
your ordinary insurance office.
Most important, they are delivering a
phenomenal experience to their clients coupling the
history and heritage of the past with the resources
and assurance of the future.
