The DEUTZ-FAHR tradition of power
matched with reliability continues with
the introduction of a comfortable new
cab and elegant Giugiaro styling which
reinterpretes the familiar family look
of the brand. Four new 5- and 6-straw
walker models are introduced - the C9205
TS, C9205 TSB, C9206 TS and C9206
TSB - with specific features tailored
for maximised productivity in all crop
applications with the added capability of
working large areas.
The new design is not just elegant but
offers easier access too, with large gullwing lateral doors and a rear sliding door
making the task of refuelling the main and
AdBlue tanks much simpler. The superbly
performing and efficient 7.8 litre, 246 kW
(334 hp) Deutz TCD L6 T4i engine is used
in both the C9205 and the 290 kW (395 hp) Deutz TCD L6 T4i engine for the C9206.
After being taken aback by the emotive design of this new combine harvester, you’ll be
simply astonished by the efficient solutions adopted to make periodical maintenance
easier. Every aspect is optimised so it only takes a few moments to check under the cowls
before you can set off again on a safe and long day of harvesting.

New CAB COMMANDER CAB V.
Generously equipped with numerous lights and features such as
electrically powered double curvature convex rear view mirrors,
the cab fits in perfectly with the new style, while its superb
visibility is an invitation to take control of the new DEUTZ-FAHR
Series C9000. The comfortable drivers seat, upholstered in new
dust-proof soft-touch materials and offered in a new colour
scheme, caters for the needs of even the most exacting driver.
The capacious 21 litre portable refrigerator incorporated in the
passenger seat is highly versatile and performs brilliantly at any
ambient temperature. The completely new steering wheel and
steering column have been specifically designed for maximum
ergonomic benefit and superb levels of comfort, whether driving
in the field or on the road.
MAXI Crop.
The outstanding performance and fuel efficiency of the new
harvesters has also been made possible by the revised “MaxiCrop” threshing system, which combines an extraordinary range
of capability - with its exclusive variable section concave - with
the robustness and the adaptability required to work with all
possible crop types and in all conditions.
With this centrifugal drum, the hourly output capacity of the
combine harvester . The turbo separator can generate increases up to 20 % in productivity, whatever harvesting conditions
are encountered. The benefit of the exclusive 5-position electric
adjustment feature is that the separating action can be varied
to suit the characteristics of the threshed crop, and in the case

Nothing has been left to chance in the new range of
DEUTZ-FAHR C9000 Series combine harvesters.
The one-piece construction, of the cutter bars, together
with the Autocontrol and Schumacher Easy Cut II
systems, ensure uniform and safe cutting in all conditions,
while reducing wear and saving fuel.
Extra Feeding.
Nothing has been left to chance in the new range of
DEUTZ-FAHR C9000 Series combine harvesters. The
feeder channel, with the “Extra Feeding” system and
hydraulic reverse shuttle is no exception. Comprising
a roller with retractable fingers which increases
and provides a constant feeding to the threshing
components, reducing stress to the transmission,
resulting in a lower power requirement. Adding to this
is an exclusive electrohydraulic cutting table incidence
angle regulator system. Together, these solutions ensure
that the threshing components are fed continuously and
uniformly.

BALANCE: INCLINATION
IS NOT A PROBLEM ANYMORE.
BALANCE
When working on gradients, the Balance system ensures the
same threshing performance as on level terrain. The inclination
of the combine harvester is monitored by potentiometers,
with the signals being processed by an electronic control
unit, which then sends the necessary control signals to adjust
the hydraulic system in real time. As a result, DEUTZ-FAHR
combine harvesters equipped with the Balance system can
remain perfectly level when working on lateral gradients up
to 20% and longitudinal gradients up to 6%. This maintains
the optimum operating conditions for the threshing, straw
walker and cleaning systems, so that the product is processed
efficiently and uniformly, for maximum productivity.
On BALANCE versions, the generous grain tank can be filled to
its full 9,500 litre (standard for C9000 series) capacity even in
the most challenging working conditions. And as the system
maintains an even weight distribution over the driving wheels,
all the power of the engine can be put to use effectively in
any situation. The BALANCE function is activated by simply
pressing a button in the cab, while the level of the machine
can also be corrected manually if necessary. With automatic
cutting angle control - a feature offered exclusively by DEUTZFAHR - the threshing drum is fed uniformly.

COMMANDER CAB IV
DESIGNED TO LET YOU DOMINATE
THE FIELD IN TOTAL COMFORT.
The interior of the Commander Cab IV offers the ideal
environment to keep the driver working at peak performance
even throughout the longest working day. With superior
soundproofing, controls organised rationally by function and
excellent visibility, the driver can stay focused on the job of
harvesting and maximise the productivity of the combine
harvester. With the Instrumentation and controls of the
60 Series, the driver is in complete control of the combine
harvester and can continuously monitor the quality of the work
completed using the CCM (Combine Control Management)
system, adjustments to the ventilation speed, the threshing
drum speed and opening and closing of the sieves can be
simply carried out, intuitively via the Commander Control.
For even better visibility and more precise harvesting at night,
an even larger choice of work lights is now available, with 5
different packs on offer (VISIBILITY PACKS), while the combine
harvester may be equipped with up to 3 cameras to oversee the
surrounding area.
T4i engines
LOWER FUEL CONSUMPTION AND CLASS-BEATING PERFORMANCE.
The DEUTZ Common Rail (DCR) engines match impressive power with outstanding reliability, saving considerable amounts of fuel and
making each tonne of produce harvested significantly more profitable. Offered with displacements from 6.1 to 7.8 litres, DEUTZ TDC L6
T4i engines deliver great performance in the field, with power outputs from 169 kW (230 hp) to 290 kW (395 hp) matched with among
the lowest fuel consumption figures in their class.
With Common Rail injection, 24 valves and an electronic governor system, these engines deliver exactly the right amount of power for
the occasion and can respond to load peaks without losing performance. Power is taken from both sides of the engine, for improved
power distribution and a more compact machine. The hydrostatic pump is mated directly to the engine. With the new SCR (Selective
Catalytic Reduction) system, DEUTZ TDC T4i engines produce substantially lower nitrogen oxide emissions (NOx), which are among the
most harmful of all emissions produced by the combustion process.

CUTTER BARS.
High performance cutter bars with cutting widths of
4.2 and 9.0 metres. Folding crop dividers and multiple
hydraulic connections make the cutter bar unit quick and
simple to install or remove.
With planetary gear transmission and a cutting rate of
1,220 cuts/min, the bar always cuts quickly and precisely
in all harvesting conditions. The offset configuration of
the blades reduces wear and ensures excellent cutting
results in all conditions.
The large diameter feeder auger, with tall flights and
auger fingers in a spiral configuration ensure continuous
feed and product transfer.
AUTOCONTROL system is available (optional),
for automatic control of cutting height and lateral
inclination. The AUTOCONTROL system regulates the
lateral and vertical movement of the cutter bar precisely,
to maintain a constant cutting height and ensure
effective harvesting and superior cleanliness.
The feeler skids allow the cutter bar to follow the contours
of the ground precisely and make instantaneous
corrections to maintain the correct working height.
GENTLE CEREAL HANDLING.
The legendary efficiency of DEUTZ-FAHR threshing systems
has been taken to new unparalleled heights. The threshing
system used in DEUTZ-FAHR combine harvesters is robust,
reliable and extremely productive. The threshing geometry
of DEUTZ-FAHR combine harvesters offers the benefits of
very high productivity while handling the grain and straw
gently to ensure the quality is intact.
The distances between the concave and the threshing
drum at the front and rear are independently adjustable.
This means that the combine harvester can adapt ideally
to different harvesting conditions. With a large aperture,
blockages can quickly be cleared from the concave.
MULTI-SEGMENT CONCAVE.
With the exclusive DEUTZ-FAHR transverse segment system
(optional), the combine harvester can be reconfigured
quickly to work with different crops and in different
conditions throughout the harvest season.

TURBO FAN.
The high performance 44 vane turbo fan (440 mm in
diameter), aspirates air along the entire width of the
combine harvester. Transverse air flows are distributed
and controlled by deflectors, which can either accelerate
or decelerator the flow of air over the sieves as necessary.
The air flow is spread uniformly over the entire length of
the sieve box. For very fine grain crops, the air volume may
be reduced by deflectors, while the fan speed is adjusted
electronically between 480 and 980 rpm.
DEUTZ-FAHR RETURN SYSTEM
(DGR).
With the DEUTZ-FAHR return system (DGR), any ears left
unthreshed are processed by blades with friction inserts
on both sides, meaning that the grain is sent completely
separated to the grain pan. Special friction inserts
further maximise the efficiency of the threshing system
by separating the grain from any husks remaining in the
sieves.

STRAW CHOPPER & CHAFF
SPREADER.
The DEUTZ-FAHR high cutting density straw chopper
ensures that harvested land is left ready for the next
farming activity. The wide working area of this accessory
spreads the chopped material over the entire area, even
when working with very wide cutter bars. The straw
chopper is controlled directly from the cab, and is activated
before the threshing drum to prevent transmission
overload. Easy access to the blades for adjustment,
minimises maintenance and set up times. For even more
effective material distribution, the straw chopper may
also be equipped with electrically adjustable deflectors,
to adapt spreading to environmental conditions. With
New chaff conveyor with metal chutes directing the chaff towards
the 4-blade rotors.
