integration. We bring you Edge
sinks. Gone is the traditional
STAINLESS STEEL SINKS
steel rim found on all other
sinks. In its place is a revolutionary resin matrix rim specifically designed for
seamless integration in laminate and solid surface countertops. Machined flat
on the upper rim surface, Edge sinks can be seamlessly undermounted using
adhesives directly to all laminate and solid surface countertops.

a European brushed satin finish. This elegant finish provides a luxurious look, yet combines the

All double bowl Edge sinks feature a practical lowered bowl divider. For that traditional style of
sink, choose one of our 300 Series models. For that more contemporary, commercial styling,

ACRYLIC SINKS
Your Karran acrylic sink is made from a unique 100% acrylic resin
that has been researched and produced to meet the specific demands of the kitchen. This material is more resistant to surface damage than other materials but like most things, better care will make
for a longer life. Our recommendation for cleaning your acrylic sink is
a 3M Scotch-Brite® pad and Comet®, Ajax® or any other powder
detergent. The special satin finish of this sink will improve with the
use of powder detergents, but all liquid detergents will also prove
satisfactory. You may clean your sink periodically with a diluted
bleach solution.
The high density acrylic material is resistant to heat and is unlikely to
mark below temperatures of 365°F. This means, in practical terms,
that pots in which water and vegetables for example are boiled could
be left on your sink for a limited (short) period of time without causing
damage. However extended exposure to a hot pot will cause damage. Our recommendation is to always let hot items cool before
placing them in your sink. Alternatively run some cold water when
placing a hot pot into the sink. By doing this there is no chance of
marking your sink as the hot item is instantly cooled.
Scratches and small chips from sharp utensils may occur over time
through use but they can easily be removed by sanding with a 3M
Scotch-Brite® pad for fine scratches, and sandpaper for deeper
scratches and small chips. Use a coarse sandpaper (100 or 150 grit)
to start, finishing off with fine sandpaper and a 3M Scotch-Brite®
pad. For deep chips please call Karran USA (866-452-7726) to
order a sink repair kit.
Your Karran stainless steel sink is produced from the highest quality
nickel bearing stainless steel. With the right care it will last a lifetime.
All Karran stainless steel sinks have a lustrous satin bowl finish
which is easy to maintain and clean. Many cleaners work well with
Karran stainless steel sinks. Some of the cleaners that work best are
Bar Keeper's Friend™ and Zud™. Additional cleaners that are suitable include Comet™, Flitz™, Soft Scrub™ and Mr. Clean™. Use
one of these recommended cleaners to keep your Karran stainless
steel sink looking like new.
Regular maintenance will keep your sink looking great:
> We recommend that you rinse your sink thoroughly after
each use and towel dry. This will inhibit the buildup of mineral
deposits on the sink’s surface that may cause your sink to
loose its lustrous appearance.
> When scouring your sink, which should be done weekly,
ensure that you rub in the direction of the satin finish grain
lines. Do not scour across the satin finish grain lines. This will
damage the lustrous satin finish of your sink. The deck of your
Karran sink may, depending on model, have a polished/mirror
finish. Do not clean this with any type of abrasive cleaner. Use
water and a soft cloth only. Do not place pots and pans on the
bowl divider. This may scratch the polished finish.
> Do not leave soaps or other cleaners in your sink to dry. Most
contain chemicals that could, if left on the surface, damage it.
> Do not soak your sink with solutions of bleach. Bleach
contains chemicals that may damage your sink if left on the
surface for an extended period of time.

> Do not use steel wool on your sink. Steel wool can break down
and leave small particles of steel on your sinks surface that may
rust. If aggressive cleaning is needed, use a 3M Scotch-Brite™
pad.
The use of rubber mats is not recommended as they may cause
possible pitting or surface rust. If mats are used, remove them
from your sink after each use. Stainless steel, like most metallic
surfaces, can scratch. These scratches will blend in to the overall
satin finish of your sink over time. Do not use your sink as a cutting board or chopping block. This type of use may cause deep
scratches in the finish of your sink. Follow these simple maintenance tips to keep your sink looking its best for years.
QUARTZ SINKS
Your Karran quartz sink is produced from the highest quality natural
quartz and synthetic acrylic resins. With the right care it will last a
lifetime. Cleaning and caring for your quartz sink is easy. Simply
follow the reference guide given below.
> Normal impurities (residue from washing up)
Clean your sink with water, liquid dishwashing soap and a
sponge or cloth, then dry. This should be done after every use.
> Metal abrasions (pots, pans and cutlery)
Use a rub-out sponge or eraser sponge. Follow up by cleaning
your sink with water, liquid dishwashing soap and a sponge or
cloth, then dry. Do this whenever necessary.
> Lime stains and rust
Use vinegar or a commercial lime and rust remover. With
vinegar, dilute 50% with water and let it soak into the affected
areas for 20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly then dry. With a
commercial lime and rust remover, follow the directions for use
on the packaging, then rinse sink thoroughly and dry. Do this
whenever necessary.
> Stubborn stains
Mix 1 part household bleach with 15 parts water and let soak
in sink for 1 hour. Drain, rinse thoroughly and dry. Do this
whenever necessary.
These simple maintenance tips will keep your sink looking its
best for years. To prevent permanent damage to your sink:
> Do not place hot pots or other hot items directly onto the sinks
surface. Let them cool completely before placing them on the
sinks surface.
> Do not use the sink as a cutting board. While quartz is
incredibly durable, sharp knives may cut into the surface.
> Do not clean the sink with abrasive cleaning pads and powder
detergents. This may dull and damage the sinks surface.

LIMITED WARRANTY FOR KARRAN SINKS
Products Subject to this Limited Warranty
This Limited Warranty applies only to sinks manufactured and sold
by Karran USA (the “Company”) (the “Products”).
Who is Entitled to this Limited Warranty
The Company grants this Limited Warranty solely in favor of the original purchaser of the Products (the “Original Purchaser”), but to no
other person or entity whatsoever. No person or entity, other than
the Original Purchaser, shall have any right to assert any claim under
this Limited Warranty, or otherwise, in connection with the Products.
This Limited Warranty is personal to the Original Purchaser and may
not be transferred by the Original Purchaser to any other person or
entity, by contract, operation of law, transfer of the property into
which the Products are installed, or otherwise.
Length of this Limited Warranty
This Limited Warranty shall begin on the date the Products are installed into the original residential or commercial application and
shall continue for a period of 25 years (such period of time, the “Warranty Period”), after which this Limited Warranty shall expire and be
of no further force or effect. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU
OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND MERCHANTABILITY.
The Company shall then promptly inspect, by means of digital photography supplied by the customer, the claimed defect and if such
examination does disclose a defect covered by this warranty, shall,
within thirty (30) days after inspection replace or repair the defective
Product (as it shall elect in its sole and absolute discretion), subject
to the terms set forth above.
Limitations
1. The Company shall not be liable under this Limited Warranty for
any of the following:
A. Defects in or failure of the Products caused by accidents,
physical abuse or misuse of the Products.
B. Defects in or failure of the Products caused by installation of
the Products not in strict adherence with the written instructions of the Company.
C. Defects in or failure of the Products caused by improper care
or maintenance of the Products.
D. Breakage of the Product that is not due to a defect in the
manufacture of the Products.
E. Any damage to the Products caused by impact of foreign objects, earthquake, or other acts of God or by fire, explosion or
other casualty.
F. Defects in, failure of, or damage to the Products caused by
materials adjacent to the Products.
What is Warranted
Subject to the conditions and limitations set forth in this Limited Warranty,
the Company warrants to the Original Purchaser that during the Warranty Period the Products will be free from manufacturing and design defects when used under normal conditions and maintained properly.
G. Any damage due to or resulting from heat.
What the Company Will Do
In the event that any Product fails to comply with this Limited Warranty,
the Company will either repair or replace the defective Product at its cost.
The Company shall elect the remedy in its sole and absolute discretion.
I. Changes in the Products due to gloss reduction, scratching,
staining or alkaline etching of the finish over time due to use,
cleaning practices or water conditions, all of which are not manufacturing defects but are indicative of normal wear and tear.
In the event the Company elects to replace any defective Product, the
Company may provide, at its option, up to $300 to be credited towards
the installation of another Product. If the Company determines the
Product needs to be undermounted with a silicone bond or soft seam in
a solid surface or stone countertop, the replacement Product may, at
the option of the Company, be another Product part of the Undermount
Series. If the Product needs replacement by seamless integration
(hard seamed) into a laminate, solid surface, granite or quartz countertop, the replacement Product shall be the Company’s Top Mount Sink.
THE FOREGOING DESCRIBES THE COMPANY’S SOLE LIABILITY, AND THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER’S SOLE REMEDY, FOR
ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY IN RESPECT OF THE PRODUCTS.
How to Make a Claim
To make a claim under this Limited Warranty, the Original Purchaser
must notify the Company in writing of any claimed defect in a Product. Such notice must be given promptly following discovery of the
claimed defect and in any event prior to the expiration of the applicable Warranty Period. The Original Purchaser must submit with such
notice proof of purchase and proof of the date of purchase of the
Product claimed to be defective. Notification shall be provided to:
H. Damage to the Products caused by alteration after completion
of their installation by anyone who is not authorized by the
Company in writing, whether such alteration be by structural
additions, changes, replacements or by equipment installation.
2. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY DAMAGE TO THE PROPERTY
IN WHICH A PRODUCT IS INSTALLED, ITS CONTENTS OR ANY
PERSON THEREIN. NO FIELD REPRESENTATIVE, DISTRIBUTOR
OR DEALER OF THE COMPANY IS AUTHORIZED TO MAKE ANY
CHANGE OR MODIFICATION TO THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.
SOME STATES MAY NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON OR THE EXCLUSION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO
THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
The invalidity, illegality or unenforceability of any one or more provisions of this Limited Warranty shall in no way affect or impair the validity, legality or enforceability of the remaining provisions, which
shall remain in full force and effect.
