How to Attract Hummingbirds
Give Birds The Calcium They Need!
Springing Ahead With Nesting Blend
Hummingbirds are found in most habitats across North
America, including backyards. Offering nectar feeders and
nectar-producing plants will help you maximize the number of
hummingbirds that visit your yard.
WBU Decorative Feeder
We recommend using the Wild Birds Unlimited Hummingbird
Feeder to attract the most hummingbirds to your yard.
Designed to appeal to hummingbirds, this feeder allows
them to hover or perch while feeding. It does not leak. Most
bees are prevented from accessing the nectar solution,
and the built-in ant moat deters ants. The feeder is easy to
clean, and the nectar solution recipe is printed under the lid.
The Wild Birds Unlimited Decorative Hummingbird Feeder
adds an aesthetic flair to your yard, is available in the three
most popular flower colors for hummingbirds and has the
same great features as our standard hummingbird feeder.
Based on our standard feeder, the Wild Birds Unlimited
Decorative Window Hummingbird Feeder brings the birds in
for closer views. Watch their tongues lap up the food, darting
in and out of the nectar solution up to 12 times per second.
It is the only window hummingbird feeder that contains an ant
moat. Lifetime guarantee.

Spring is in the Air...Are You Ready?
An Oriole Smorgasbord on One Feeder!
Orioles eat many types of food. They crave citrus when they
arrive in the spring, eating orange halves and grape jelly.
Then they quickly turn to eating nectar, and then switch
almost exclusively to insects after nesting. Our feeder offers
nectar with several feeding stations, includes jelly wells in
the lid and a place for an orange half. It's easy to hang and
dishwasher safe. It also comes with a lifetime guarantee.

bugs and berries, aren't plentiful. Our no-melt dough is

Now is the time to offer your birds our Nesting Blend. This
blend is bound to satisfy a bevy of birds in your backyard
with its mix of black oil sunflower seeds, sunflower chips,
peanuts, safflower, dried cherries and calcium, an important
ingredient for making strong egg shells during the nesting
season. For best results, offer this blend in a hopper style or

Three Locations To Serve You Better
Spring Has Sprung in Your Backyard!
Whether you place it in your yard or
mount it to your deck, this secure
birdfeeding station allows you to
customize your setup to attract the
birds you want.
Did you see it? Is it out there? Has spring
shown up in your yard? Bulbs popping
out of the ground. Buds forming on the
branches of the trees...and most of all
songbirds singing their songs. That is my
favorite part. When the birds begin to
sing I know that baby birds being fed at
my feeders will be along soon.
Every year we see the renewal of life
taking place in our own backyards and
we should take a minute to pat ourselves
on the back for being a helper to mother
nature. We kept our feeders full during
the long snowy winter and we cleaned
out our nesting boxes to be ready for
new nests to be built. We did our part to
help the birds survive a very snowy and
cold winter and now we get to enjoy the
show. There is currently the "courtship
show" but soon there will be the "show off
the new babies show." I love watching the
adult birds bring their babies to my
feeders to be fed. This is one of the
toughest months of the year for birds to
find food because many people believe
that they can fend for themselves once
winter is over. Actually most of the
natural food sources are very depleted
this time of year and new seeds and
grubs have yet to appear.
So keep your feeders full of fresh seed
and you will be rewarded by the color
and beauty of your own backyard show.
And don't forget that hummingbirds are
orioles are heading our way this month.
If you aren't already feeding these birds
and want to learn how, just stop by our
stores for information.
Looking forward to seeing you soon!
