His industry experience includes advertising and media, sports, corporate and entertainment law and financial services. David has owned and operated his media consulting agency DLK, Inc since 2005. David was Co-Founder, CEO of Going the Distance, LLC, where he led the acquisition of the Los Angeles Marathon, the fourth largest marathon in the United States. David has served as Managing Director of Del Rey Management, a Los Angeles-based equity hedge fund; President of Glick Entertainment, a diversified entertainment and consumer products company; and Chairman and co-founder of Firefly Imaging, a projection media company. Prior to his experience in media, David practiced business and entertainment law as an attorney in Los Angeles. He was a member of the Board of Directors of The Giving Back Fund, a national non-profit that advises athletes and celebrities on all aspects of charitable giving. Strictly Private & Confidential 13 The Management Team Robert Baker, Co-CEO MDC Robert studied dance and acting in New York City, performing in the original cast of Dreamgirls prior to moving to Los Angeles with his partner, Ann Marie Hudson, in 1991. After relocating to L.A., Robert studied at UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television while working as an intern on the NBC studios lot on Unsolved Mysteries and The Vicki Lawrence Show. He went on to produce programs for ABC, NBC, and CBS, focusing mainly on the networks’ Movie of the Week specials. His credits include Double Jeopardy, starring Joe Penny, Terry Garr, and Brittany Murphy, and Payback, starring Ed Asner and Mary Tyler Moore. Strictly Private & Confidential 14 The Management Team Ann Marie Hudson, Founder, Co-CEO MDC Ann Marie served as manager of Moro Landis Studios before taking it over upon the building owner’s request and transforming it into Millennium Dance Complex. The famous studio had become troubled after George Moro’s death in the mid-1980s, and Ann Marie agreed to become the owner having worked at Moro Landis for three months. Before coming to Los Angeles, Ann Marie had built a successful career as an entrepreneur. At age 21, she started Bodyworks Fitness Center, creating a low-impact aerobics and fitness class to provide an alternative to Jane Fonda’s popular body-pounding fitness routine. She taught yoga, gymnastics, and children’s dance while managing a staff of eight employees. She also did work as a fitness and weight trainer for a large fitness company chain in New Jersey. When she was 24, Ann Marie sold her business and moved to New York City. As a child, she grew up in the nightclub industry since her father owned numerous clubs in Korea. Always wanting to own her own business, she worked through the ranks of restaurants to become a certified trainer at the age of 18 years old. Wanting to develop her creative side, she studied Fashion Photography and secured an internship with a top fashion photographer.
