Mark your Calendar now for the 2013 FLABOTA Retreat and Board
Mark your Calendar now for the 2013 FLABOTA Retreat and Board of Directors Meeting In beautiful Cashiers, North Carolina Thursday, October 3 – Saturday, October 5, 2013 Each October, our Board of Directors meets in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina for a meeting and retreat with members. Enhancing communication and reassessing priorities are among the goals of this annual weekend away from the stressful atmosphere of the workplace. Join us for golf at High Hampton Golf Course and the Country Club of Sapphire Valley, delicious meals with good friends and colleagues, hiking in the colorful mountains, and plenty of time for relaxing and exploring the area. Additional activities will include sporting clay shooting at a challenging point-to-point range, and horseback riding through the mountains for beginners or more advanced riders. A respected real estate broker who knows the area well will provide a private tour and reception, specifically for FLABOTA members. Identifying and incorporating the personal strengths of individuals to achieve group goals is another benefit of FLABOTA’S Annual Retreat. The cooperative skills gained at each retreat improve the performance of our leadership team. Incoming Chapter Presidents are strongly encouraged to attend, as you will be leading your members at the local level in three short months. Your attendance at this meeting will help ensure a smooth transition.
