Features
The Instinct DCT is hot out of the heads of our engineers and pro team;
a gold star addition to Head’s table of sticks, incorporating the freshest tech. This includes Head’s take on combined camber, DCT, from
which a rider can muster the response and precision of camber and
the smoothness of flat camber; and Framewall - the world’s first 3D
sidewall – which improves the torsional performance of a board as
well as delivering supreme power distribution to the board’s edges.
Add to this Kers chips, for the harvesting and redistribution of kinetic
energy, power shovel tip and tail, 40mm Basalt stringers on top and
base for smooth pop and a slim waist for improved torsional performance and you have a high-end slayer of the whole mountain.

The Frame Wall is the latest innovation resulting from the
HEAD intelligence loop. Making the product better, HEAD’s engineers and pro riders were seeking for a solution to address
the issue of unbalanced distribution of edge pressure.

While sidewalls are covered and
therefore stiffened by different
kind of laminates top and bottom,

Features
The Force i. KERS is a progressive all-mountain freestyle machine,
endowed with regular camber and a high-end directional twin shape,
on which the bindings are set back by 1cm. It is packed with performance enhancing features, like the 40mm Basalt stringers on top and
base for smooth pop, KERS chips in the tip and tail for stability and a
sintered base for sick speed off the blocks. For these reasons it is the
board of choice of team rider Tom Klocker, and features artwork by his
tattoo artist Sandor Pongor.

With the newly-developed PEAK FELLOW, the HEAD development team has surpassed itself and developed a product that combines all the features you need for a perfect day’s
skiing or snowboarding. The result is a freeride backpack that provides as much security
and functionality as you could ever wish for.
The PEAK FELLOW is the ideal accessory for backcountry use. In addition to storage space
for avalanche emergency equipment, including a shovel, a probe and a first-aid kit, the
packsack’s ABS® compatibility offers yet more safety on insecure terrain. The ABS®
system is a TÜV-approved airbag system that can save you from being buried in an avalanche. Pull the handle and the ABS® twin bags are pyrotechnically and pneumatically
activated, inflating to full size in a split second. The inflated ABS® twin bags provide
additional dynamic lift in a flowing avalanche, and help skiers and snowboarders to stay
on top of the avalanche. The separately available ABS® VARIO BASE UNIT can be zipped
onto the HEAD PEAK FELLOW packsack in just a few steps.
The removable back protector built into the PEAK FELLOW’s carrying compartment is CE
EN 1621-2 certified and offers additional impact protection. On the outside of the backpack there are attachments for poles, an ice axe and a helmet. The main compartment
provides enough space for anything you can’t do without for a long day on the slopes, and
closes tight with the help of the water-repellent YKK zipper. Smart storage compartments
for a hydration system, tools, a mobile phone and other small items complete the list of
features.
Despite its compact outer dimensions, the PEAK FELLOW offers a unique variety of attachments for carrying skis or snowboards. Skis can be attached either one on each side or
diagonally. Boards can be mounted across the backpack during trips on the snowmobile,
or vertically down the length of the body while climbing on foot.

The DCT shape is a evolution of our classic CAMBA
shape. The DCT shape has Camba under the bindings and a flat part between the bindings combined
with a more narrow waist and a more aggressive
sidecut in this area for sharpe turns and quicker

the kind of technical innovation that defines Head
Snowboards. It gives extra dampening for taking
the sting out of landings and reducing chatter at
speed, and importantly allows the board to flex
more naturally to improve precision and control on
every type of camber. The result? Finally, you can
unleash your board’s true potential.
Our asymmetrical strap provides more lateral support in areas where needed, while the medial side
of the strap allows more flexibility for greater performance. Stiffer padding on the lateral side gives
a strong support and offers a direct input into the
equipment in conjunction with some softer padding
on the medial side.
This system combines the unrivaled ankle strap of
our conventional strap-in bindings with the simplicity in handling of reclining highback systems.

KERS
KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) is a system we’ve
adapted straight from Formula 1 to harvest kinetic energy produced during edge-to-edge transferred to electric energy via piezoelectric fibres and stored in the KERS

power a carve. The upshot is you’ll be fired out of turns

THERMOFIT
Metal loops and a Tetoron lace material make for easier sliding laces and
an easier entry and exit. These liners
are heat moldable, come with a 3D
molded insole with a solid heelcup to
avoid heel movement, and give proper
arch support.
THERMOFIT PRO
This liner dispenses with lower lacing
(not needed because of IPS and Hybrid
lacing on the shell) to eliminate pressure points and give even easier entry
and exit without compromising on fit.
It is custom heat moldable, the lining
is made of natural antimicrobial Bamboo charcoal and there’s a 3D molded
insole with a solid heelcup to prevent
heel movement and give proper arch
support.
POWER TRANSMISSION POCKET
Fine-tune the liner’s toebox volume by adding/removing
EVA pads to the Power Transmission Pocket. It provides
great support for the toes when doing heelside turns.
TOE WIDTH ADJUSTMENT
A velcro strap around the toebox allows you to adjust its
width to avoid slipping in the boot if you have a narrow foot. Pull out the liner, tighten the strap according
to your needs and step into the boot again. You will feel
the difference.

section has a Velcro strap to customize the width and a Power Transmission
Pocket holds your toes down securely on
heelside turns. Bamboo charcoal lining
is natural and antimicrobial and the
breathable foam used helps wick moisture away from your foot. A Collar Velcro
strap allows you to crank it tight for direct power transmission and the triple
density insole has a strong heelcup,
significant arch support and a shock
pad in the heel. Heat moldable too.

HYBRID LACING
The FPG (Foot Precise Guidance) insole features a
cupped heel shape and curved arch under your instep,
providing you with maximum support for your entire foot.
No more cramping means a more fun riding!
Hybrid Lacing is a combination of a lace secured with
the Easylock on the lower section and a Velcro collar
strap on the liner’s cuff. Individually adjust the liner’s
sectiona with precision according to your needs.

ride, the Autofit W is pre-molded and
has a lower collar to fit a woman’s calf
precisely.

easy sliding metal loops for a convenient entry and exit. These are custom

molded insole and have a lower heelside collar to accommodate women’s

FPT INSOLE
Our FPT (Foot Power Transmission) insole is put together
using 3 different densities for maximum performance:
1) A stiffer material that surrounds your heel for that
locked-in heel grip feel. 2) A shock absorbing pad under the heel where you need it most to soak up heavy
landings and to keep your feet relaxed on hard packed
days. 3) A softer forefoot construction giving additional
comfort and keeping your hard working toes warm all
day long.

Christophe is a leading player in the German snowboard scene,
whose talents span both competition and film scenes. He is a
veteran of the groundbreaking Isenseven crew but also threw
down in the 2006 and 2010 Olympics, as well as a list of other
contests too long to mention. He rides the Instinct DCT i. Kers ,
the NX Five DF bindings and the Team Boa Hybrid boots
Ai’s preferred terrain is powder and backcountry, which is pretty
lucky considering she hails from Japan, home of the mythical
steep and deeps. Her board of choice is the She´s Good Flocka,
which she complements with NX Fay Five DF bindings and Jinx

Shayne is a Jersey boy and earned his snowboard proficiency
badge in Vermont’s school of hard knocks. He has since gone
west and can be found riding the winters away in Mammoth
filming with the People Crew on his Evil i. Flocka, Team Boa
Hybrid and NX Five DF bindings.

TOM KLOCKER
Like Head teammates Klocker, Evensen and Schmidt, Alex Tank
lays it down for the Isenseven crew and if you want proof of his
technical abilities then look no further than Fool´s Gold and
GIVIN TOO. Alex is responsible for the design of the Evil Flocka,
which he complements with NX Five DF bindings and the Team
Boa Hybrid boots.
If you’re a fan of Isenseven, then Tom Klocker will be no stranger. Hailing from Hippach, Austria he likes nothing more than
banging hammers off booters in the park and backcountry but
is also not adverse to a little street action. Together with his
tattoo artist Sandor Pongor, Tom came up with the design of
his chosen ride, the Force i. Kers. He also rides the NX Five DF
bindings with the Team Boa Hybrid boot.
