Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) The Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) of 13% applies to recreation programs, services and materials where applicable and is included in the fees. Existing programs that were GST exempt remain HST exempt – for example, qualifying recreation programs for children 14 and younger and individuals with disabilities. If you would like a refund*, you must fill out and submit a Refund Request Form. No processing fee will be charged if the refund is credited to your account. A $25 processing fee will be charged for refunds by cheque or credit card. Refunds will be issued within 21 days of the receipt of the Refund Request Form. He studied music at Carleton University and is proficient in both classical and jazz as well as music theory. He knows the time and dedication it takes to master his instrument and passes on his love of music to students in a fun and educative style with progressive learning in theory, music reading and performance. Between gigs she taught at Duke University, arts centers and at festivals. In 2004 she moved toward more teaching and now it’s her bread and butter. Jamie remembers what it was like to learn that first guitar chord, giving her empathy and patience with students who might feel like they have five thumbs. She is proficient in many styles, from rock to bluegrass. Jamie also teaches song writing and mandolin. Although teaching started out simply as an activity to do between tours, it’s turned into something she genuinely loves doing. Melody has been playing piano for more than twenty years and is happy to share her love of music with others. Musically, she works as a teacher, an accompanist and as a performance coach. Experience the art of Chinese calligraphy. Students learn basic calligraphy strokes for the creation of Chinese writing as an art form. Pen grip and letter formation are taught throughout this ten-week workshop. An accordion-fold book is produced as the final project. Games, tricks, directional exercises, problem solving for diverse issues in addition to obedience exercises will be covered in this class. Level 1 classes are for dogs 5 months and older and present a fun approach to learning about dog behaviour, communication with unfamiliar dogs, and learning about how to be safe around dogs.
