Dear Collegues,
It is our great honor to invite you to the 12th
Conference of Baltic Societies of Nephrology, which
will take place on June 12-14 2014 in the seminar
and resort centre “Dubingiai”, Molėtai district, in a
spacious territory surrounded by the beautiful
hundred-year-old pines, on the shore of the longest
Lithuanian lake Asveja.
Molėtai district is known for its many lakes, there
are about 220. District is active visited as it is only
about 60 km north of Vilnius capital of Lithuania.
The area offers many recreational opportunities.
Molėtai district attracts visitors because of its
beautiful nature and cultural heritage objects
located there. Another natural resource of the
district are its forests which cover about 26.6% of
its territory.
The Baltic Conference is organized by the Board of
the Lithuanian Nephrology, Dialysis and
Transplantation Association aimed to present a
scientific program, with interesting updated
themes and the most recent developments in the
field of Nephrology. During the Conference we will
have possibility to discuss our problems and
achievements, to meet our old friends and teachers.
We hope you will enjoy the scientific program of
12th Conference of Baltic Societies of Nephrology
as well as the beautiful Molėtai district at the start of
Lithuanian summer, when everything around is
green and blooming.

Molėtai district and city
Molėtai is a city in north eastern Lithuania. One of the oldest
settlements in Lithuania. Molėtai is known for its many lakes.
There are about 220 lakes in the district. Since it is only about
60 km north of Vilnius capital of Lithuania, many Vilnians
own summer homes there. The area offers many recreational
opportunities. Molėtai district attracts visitors because of its
beautiful nature and cultural heritage objects located there.
Another natural resource of the district are its forests which
cover about 26.6% of its territory.
In Molėtai district there is the longest Lithuanian lake Asveja
stretching which may be admired from the top of Dubingiai
mound. There is a Glass museum located in Balninkai village
where clearly described history of Lithuanian glass
manufacturing and exhibits of greatest art works from glass
can be found.
Conference Venue
Seminar and resort centre “Dubingiai” is located in a
spacious territory surrounded by the beautiful hundredyear-old pines, on the shore of the longest Lithuanian lake
Asveja (Molėtai district). Various indoor and outdoor
activities are available: basketball, volleyball, tennis-courts,
water bicycles, boats, a neat lakeside beach, two saunas,
swimming pool, billiards, table tennis, bowling.

The Conference Organizing Committee has reserved rooms

Rates quoted below are per room, per night, including
