COLORS
All of our inks are hand mixed so we cannot guarantee exact
Pantone matching colors. Please understand this is a handmade
process. Because each piece is printed with antique printing
equipment, you may notice slight variations in inking, color,
shading, printing and position. These small variations are what
make letterpress unique and beautiful.
COLORES
Todas nuestras tintas son mezcladas manualmente por eso no
podemos garantizar tonos exactos pantone. Por favor contemple que
este es un proceso totalmente artesanal y manual. Como cada tarjeta
está impresa con maquinaria antigua, pueden notarse pequeñas
variaciones de tono, posición, impresión y tinta... estas pequeñas
variaciones son las que hacen del sistema Letterpress algo lindo y
único.
WHITE & METALLIC INK
We don't do white ink over black paper... because letterpress
white ink is not good enough for covering dark surfaces, it is a
bit transparent and it doesn't look well (remember this is not hot
stamping!). The one ink that works great is silver (or gold),
because of its metallic components that cover the surface much
better, but not completely, it is still a bit transparent (has also low
contrast) and gives it a vintage look we love! Also the final look
is opaque, not shinny. Metallic glitter shows best in certain
angles and with certain light... specially sunlight. Please check

PRINTING ON 2 SIDES
We can definitely do colors on both sides but you have to keep
in mind that depending on the design... when the second side is
printed, it flattens a bit the front side (because of the press
pressure) so the letterpress effect tends to disappear a little bit on
the first side when that happens. Most of the times is better to
have one side flat printed and the other one letterpressed.
Although we use thick paper stock, the letterpress embossing
effect still shows on the back of the paper. Please keep this in
mind when placing your order. If you mind about this, please
make sure you order just 1 side printing.
ARTWORK
We strongly advice you to print the previous pages/s in order to
check design details, font sizes, spelling or any other possible
consideration you might have. Please check when printing that
your page is set up at 100% (real size) so that you have an
exact idea of how your job will look when printed. Once you
approve this final design, Mil Letterpress is not responsible for
any misspelling errors or design considerations. This means that
if there's an error, there will be a full charge for re-printing the
cards. Mil Letterpress will not give refunds for approved designs.
SHIPPING
If you would like a faster delivery please contact us with your
location and the items you are planning to purchase so we can
give you an exact shipping quote. Please note that you would
also be responsible for any customs fee and duty.
TINTA BLANCA Y METÁLICA
No imprimimos con tinta blanca porque las tintas de letterpress son
semitrasparentes y cubren parcialmente la superficie del papel. La tinta
plata (o dorada) es la que sí funciona sore superficies oscuras... pero
no es totalmente cubritiva... es parcialmente trasparente... por eso le
da un look vintage o "gastado" que nos encanta... Tampoco queda
muy brillante ni contrastada la tinta... solo cuando la mirás con mucha
luz brilla realmente... ¡Acordate que no es hot stamping...!

IMPRIMIR DE AMBOS LADOS
Definitivamente podemos realizar impresiones de ambos lados... pero
dependiendo del diseño y del papel que se use, hay que ver si se
puede hundir bien de los dos lados... tené en cuenta que cuando
imprimimos el segundo lado la presión de la máquina tiende a
"aplastar" el primero... por eso muchas veces conviene imprimir de un
lado a nivel y el otro con el efecto hundido de letterpress.
Si bien usamos papeles gruesos, el efecto letterpress se nota en la
mayoría de los soportes del lado de atrás. Si esto te preocupa,
sugerimos que sólo pidas impresión de un sólo lado.
ARCHIVO
Sugerimos firmemente que por favor imprima la/s página/s previas
para chequear detalles, tamaño de textos y ortografía. Por favor tenga
en cuenta setear la impresora para que imprima al 100% (o sea a
tamaño real) para ver realmente cómo lucirá su trabajo una vez
impreso. Una vez que se aprueba un diseño final, Mil Letterpress no
es responsable por ningún error de tipeo, de datos, tamaños o de
diseño. Esto significa que si hay un error, habrá un costo completo
extra por reimprimir. No hay devolución por diseños aprobados.
TIEMPOS DE PRODUCCIÓN Y ENTREGA
Los pedidos tardan en producirse entre 2 y 3 semanas.
La entrega se puede realizar en Nordelta o cerca del Alto Palermo, a
convenir.
O por correo, a cargo del cliente. Mil Letterpress no se responsabiliza
por el arribo del paquete en caso de utilizar correos locales. En caso
de pérdida o robo durante el envío, el trabajo se cobrará nuevamente
en su totalidad.
