We work with goaltenders on all
fundamentals needed to enhance their
game no matter what level or age.
Philosophy
We believe that goalies should be
taught all skills required to play the
position. The more tools you have in
your belt the better equipped you will
be able to reach the next level.
Three Basic Fundamentals
1) Skating
2) Preparation
3) Execution
Each one is covered extensively and
combined so that the goalie understands how all three work together.
Staff
Our staff consists of former students
of the Academy which have all been
thoroughly trained in all aspects of
skating and positioning drills. All our
coaches are required to follow a strict
regimen according to the mission of
each session.

This one-of-a-kind program will take
any goalie out of his comfort zone and
to the next level.
Ron Petronella Elite Goalie Camps
Register my goalie for:
Academy Director, Ron Petronella,
has been coaching goaltenders for
over twenty years after playing NCAA
Division I college hockey followed by a
brief pro-hockey career.
All aspects of goaltending will be
covered. Including: skating, staying
square, recovery, stick and glove
use, reading the stick, tracking the
puck, proper use of butterfly and
butterfly slide, angles, rebound control,
deflections, blocking saves vs reaction
saves, screen shots and the ‘mental
game’.
Ron will be joined at all camps by
his hand picked coaches who will
compliment each session with close
attention to every goalie.
