To continue fulfilling our promise of convenience to over 250,000 members, we opened six new branches, and another location is scheduled to open early 2015 in Centereach. As Long Island’s largest credit union, we funded over $1.3 billion in real estate loans, including home equity, residential and commercial mortgages. We’re here to help you meet your personal and business financial needs, whether it’s buying your dream home or a building for your business. At Bethpage, we’re committed to providing you unmatched service and value. Our Bonus Checking account is the only account you will ever need. Not only is it free, but it pays interest too. To bring in the New Year with easier ways to bank, we are also happy to announce the launch of our new tablet app. See page 3 for details on how we’re making banking more convenient for you! 1/12/15 11:45 AM CEO’S MESSAGE I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our members a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year. Bethpage is here for you whether you are building a nest egg or looking to buy the car or home of your dreams. More Long Islanders continued to place their trust in us in 2014 and, as the statistics on the front page show, last year was another successful one for your credit union and fellow members. We opened almost 30,000 new checking accounts and provided $1.3 billion in real estate lending. Plus, as Long Island’s #1 home equity lender, we helped countless Long Islanders leverage the equity in their homes to fulfill their dreams. Certificate Accounts That Give You More 0.55% APY* 12-Month Certificate 1.25% APY* 24-Month Certificate It is also gratifying to know that more and more Long Islanders are discovering the Bethpage credit union advantage. Over 33,000 new members joined Bethpage in 2014, a sure sign that we are recognized for delivering value and service that no bank can match. Consider this letter from one of our members. Just recently I had the pleasure of dealing with one of your branch managers. In mentioning my concerns regarding several pending matters while out of town, he immediately provided his office number and invited me to contact him directly should I have any need. His offer of immediate personal attention was both unexpected and most appreciated. This personal level of concern and accessibility should be the blueprint for customer service. 1.20% Today, we are more than 250,000 members strong, and Bethpage has become the leading community financial institution on Long Island. With that position comes responsibility that we take very seriously. In addition to providing financial services that contribute to the individual well being of our members, we are committed to the communities in which we live and work, and to improving the quality of life for all Long Islanders. 1.30% From coat collections to turkey drives to volunteer income tax preparation, we work with leading charities and other partners to help our fellow Long Islanders. We will continue the Bethpage spirit of giving this year through our community and charitable outreach. Most important, we remain committed to helping you, our member owners. Over the years, Operation Santa has become one of the largest Christmas volunteer efforts in the world. Jocelyn’s Operation Holiday Spirit works with New York Public Schools to answer the Dear Santa letters of its students. This year, Bethpage employees were once again invited to offer their generosity and restore the belief in the Spirit of Santa to children who have not been able to experience holiday joy. A total of 53 Santa letters were answered from the Bethpage team and we enjoyed seeing the smiles on the children’s faces when they received their gift bags.
