Pear Honey Crunch
3 fresh Bartlett pears
Vj cup butter
Juice of 1 lemon
J*» V4 cup brown sugar
'/< teaspoon closes . ^ B */« cup lifted flour
I teaspoon cinnamon I^K Vi teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon flour fl^ Vi teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons honey
% cup quick cooking oata
Core and slice pears. Arrange in a shallow baking dish or cake
pan. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Combine spices and flour.
Sprinkle over pears. Drizzle with honey. Beat butter and sugar
until fluffy. Sift flour with soda and salt Add flour mixture
and outs to butter mixture. With hands, mix until well combined.
Cover pears evenly with oatmeal mixture; press lightly with
hands. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees, or until golden. Serve
warm with ice cream or pour cream. Makes 6 to 8 servings.

3 fresh Bartlett pears
Vj cup butter
Juice of 1 lemon

1 tablespoon

2 tablespoons honey
% cup quick cooking oats
Core and slice pears. Arrange in a shallow baking dish or cake
pan. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Combine spices and flour.
Sprinkle over pears. Drizzle with honey. Beat butter and sugar
until fluffy. Sift flour with soda and salt Add flour mixture
and oats to butter mixture. With hands, mix until well combined.
Cover pears evenly with oatmeal mixture; press lightly with
hands. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees, or until golden. Serve
warm with ice cream or pour cream. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
