as the creator of Atari and chuck E. cheese. As the
founder and cEO of brainRush adaptive learning
games, he is fueling their mission to unlock the genius
in each of us through smarter learning. He believes
that adaptive games make learning faster, more fun,
and more fulfilling. Nolan’s latest book is finding the
Next Steve Jobs: How to find, Hire, keep and Nurture

management at Linkedin, Allen blue thinks a lot about
careers—both others’ and his own. before joining
Linkedin in 2002, blue had been director of product
design at SocialNet, an early social networking site—
and before that, he spent seven years doing lighting
and scenic design for the theater. Here, he discusses
the similarities between the world of theater and tech
startups, the roots of his interest in technology, and
how passion is the key to bringing a wide-ranging
career path into focus. Previously, Allen has worked as
a contract web designer and developer for a variety
of clients including PayPal, Stanford university, and
Microsoft’s virtual worlds project.
Robin chase is a transportation entrepreneur. She is co-founder and former
cEO of zipcar, the largest carsharing company in the world; buzzcar, a
peer to peer carsharing service in france (now merged with drivy); and
goLoco, an online ridesharing community. She is currently co-founder and
board member of veniam, a vehicle communications company building the
networking fabric for the internet of Moving Things. Her recent book is Peers
inc: How People and Platforms are inventing the collaborative Economy
and Reinventing capitalism. She sits on the boards of veniam, the world
Resources institute, and Tucows. chase has received many awards in the
areas of innovation, design, and environment, including TiME 100 Most
influential People, fast company fast 50 innovators, and businessweek
Top 10 designers. Robin graduated from wellesley college and MiT’s Sloan
School of Management, was a Harvard university Loeb fellow, and received
an honorary doctorate of design from the illinois institute of Technology.

frédéric Mazzella is the founder and cEO of blablacar, the world’s
leading ridesharing community that connects drivers with empty seats
and people traveling the same way, so they can share their cost. frédéric
originally imagined a new transport network, built on people, when he
could not get home one christmas, several years ago. He had no car.
The trains were full. The roads, too, were full of people driving alone in
their car. it occurred to him that he should try to find a driver going his
way and offer to share fuel costs but he couldn’t and his sister made a
detour to pick him up. blablacar was born. Today, with more than 25
million members across Europe, blablacar is making road travel social,
more affordable and more sustainable. frédéric leads blablacar’s vision,
focusing on the excellence of the product, brand communication and
interactions with the ridesharing community.
Eli broverman is co-founder and President of betterment.
Eli co-founded betterment with a vision that smarter
technology will help people better plan for their financial
needs and reach their goals. Through his work at betterment,
Eli aims to make personal finance one of the first fields to
reach the age of automation. Eli oversees the company’s
business operations, strategic initiatives, and legal matters.
Eli is a frequent guest on cNbc, fOX, and bloomberg Tv,
and regular speaker at leading industry events. Prior to
forming betterment, Eli practiced law at the international
law firm Proskauer Rose LLP, where he advised fortune 500
companies and their senior management on securities, tax,
and compensation matters. Mr. broverman is a graduate of
brown university and New york university School of Law.

built between 1940 and 1952, its large reinforced concrete
structure resulted extremely innovative during the post-war.
Originally, it was made of three halls, a large main hall flanked by
two lower halls on the side. “La nave” belonged to boetticher
and Navarro, a company that became a municipal property after
going bankrupt. in 2012, a full rehabilitation project was initiated
with the aim to impulse it as the cathedral of new technologies
and center of innovation expression.
