received an info / fundraising pack last Friday. Please ask your family and friends
to support our school with a monetary donation before the event.

Students, have you started fundraising yet?
This is a fun event for the whole school — we’ll all be out jogging, running, or
walking around the school field during the event on Sept 30. You should have
received an info / fundraising pack last Friday. Please ask your family and friends
to support our school with a monetary donation before the event.
NEWSLETTER ADVERTISING
20% off if you purchase ad space
for all 9 remaining issues.
During the Jog-a-thon Mr. Abernethy will be playing music, and you’ll have a
chance to win a prize if you turn in any amount in pledges. The money raised will
go towards a ton of great PTSA sponsored activities and supplies.
You must be an Emerald Park PTSA
Member to advertise. Prices for each
issue: $5 for 1/8 page, $10 for 1/4
page, $15 for 1/2 page.

Welcome
Everyone!
Welcome from the PTSA Board.
Whether you’re a new family or a
returning family, we’re looking forward to a great year with your help.
Along with the Jog-a-thon info to
the left, inside you’ll see our plans
for other fundraisers as well as some
of the other activities & programs
coming up.
We invite you all to join as a PTSA
member (a positive thing to do for
many reasons), but you do not have
to be a member to volunteer at PTSA
sponsored events.
(Note: Only PTSA members can handle money
at events such as the upcoming Book Fair for
example.)
Look for your $3 Spirit Wear
Coupon from Membership
in this Friday Folder if you
join by Sept 29.
