GREETINGS RANDALL FAMILIES!
I hope you and your family are enjoying this short summer! My
name is Terri Fischer and I will be the Randall PTSA President for
the 2016-17 school year. I have served on the Randall PTSA
Executive Committee for the last 2 years as VP of Membership and
VP of Activities, and held PTA Board positions at Bevis Elementary.
I have an incoming 6th grader, Mason, and an 8th grader, Drew. I am
honored to be Randall’s PTSA President and, with your support, will
work to provide our students and staff with what they need to make
this a successful year. You may help us by becoming a PTSA
member, volunteering (even at just one event or donating items for
events), and participating in our fundraisers!
We ask that at least one member of each family join our PTSA, but
encourage more! Parents, students, grandparents, and businesses can
join. Check out our membership page to learn about a special RMS
ear bud holder for your student with a Dual Membership! We will
once again be having a donation drive as our main fundraiser.
Remember that 100% of your donation goes to the PTSA and
therefore back to the students and teachers.
It is very important that you register your email address on our
Randall PTSA website as this is our main form of communication.
We will send out monthly newsletters, volunteer requests, general
information, and tax receipts via email. This is part of our Going
Green Initiative that we started 5 years ago. If you have any
questions or need to get in touch with us you can email
[email protected].
If you pre-order by July 31st online at www.randallptsa.org, you will
be able to pick up membership cards, magnets, and t-shirts at the
Walk About in the express line...so don’t miss out! In stock sizes are
first come first served. If we are out of your requested size you can
pick up your other items and shirts will be delivered to your child’s
homeroom the first week of September.
I look forward to a wonderful school year and meeting many of you
throughout the year. Randall is a great school because of the support
from families like you!
Sincerely,
Terri Fischer

RMS PTSA DONATION DRIVE
The Cash Donation Drive will serve as the PTSA’s major fundraiser this year and will end October 16th so
don’t delay! Where does the money go? 100% of the money will go directly to the PTSA and therefore to
the students and staff of Randall Middle School. The PTSA hopes to help the school replace aging Elmos
with Electrosmarts (similar to Smartboards), provide technology for the classrooms, grants for the
staff, student recognition, staff appreciation, as well as other funds needed for special projects at the
school. What is our goal? We appreciate your help in reaching our goal this year, which is $10,000. How
much should you give? Everybody’s circumstance is different; so if you are able, please give as much as
you feel comfortable with. Every contribution helps!
Be on the lookout for a small school fundraiser in October for those of you who wish to support a
traditional fundraiser.
