lives, and it is through Him that students of
every ability and faith can learn. Our teachers
and staff are committed to cultivating a warm
and nurturing learning environment where students grow both spiritually and intellectually.

Our 2016 directory will include more activity pages

We have scheduled Lifetouch Directories for one last
photo session on Sunday, October 23rd. We have
parishioners who have made appointments for this
session, but we need more.
Please advise your friends and family about our

OUR ANNUAL OCTOBER MASS COUNT
will be done again the next two weekends.
This count helps both Bishop Jenky and our
United States Conference of Bishops to know
generally how many individuals are participating in our Sunday liturgies in our diocese and in
our country. So, don’t be shocked if you notice
that you are being counted.
OCTOBER IS RESPECT LIFE MONTH,
And this means that we are again making baby
bottles available to help our parishioners
contribute their “Pennies for Life.” While this
yearly collection asks one penny for each year of
life for all members of a family, contributions of
other coins or even of dollar bills are,
of course, most welcome and
gratefully received. Please
pick up a baby bottle in the Narthex.
Thank you.
MINISTRY OPENING
LITURGY COORDINATOR
St. Malachy Parish is seeking an individual
who will coordinate all aspects of liturgy in our
parish by providing leadership for our Liturgy
Committee. Interested individuals should have
a firm Catholic faith and a working knowledge
of Catholic liturgy, which can always be further
developed. It is desirable that this Liturgy Coordinator be a self-starter, willing to try new
things, and able to speak clearly about his/her
work. Expectation is that this ministry will average around 10 hours per week, although some
weeks will be much busier than others. Job
description is available upon request. For
more information and/or to apply, please call
Fr. Mike Pakula at 944-5393.
