Linebacker/running back
The University of Wisconsin-committed linebacker and
Central State Eight Conference Player of the Year finished
with 132 tackles, including 81 solo, 18 tackles for loss and
14 ½ sacks, all team highs. In 14 games, Dooley finished
with 1,456 rushing yards on 203 carries and ran for 32
touchdowns. He also caught 34 passes for 474 yards,
which led to another five touchdowns. He was also allconference in 2011.

Wide receiver/defensive back
Caught 24 passes for 425 yards and five touchdowns. He
was the only Rockets’ player to return an interception for a
touchdown, pulling the feat twice. Finished with 48 tackles.

Quarterback
The fourth straight quarterback from Rochester to go play
for a Division I college, the Eastern Illinois University-bound
Green quickly shed the shadow of Wes Lunt and forged his
own identity as a dual threat. He finished 205-for-283 with
2,794 yards passing while tossing 23 touchdowns and only
seven interceptions.

Had 27 receptions for 239 yards and three touchdowns
but also scored on 50 percent of his carries, getting
two touchdowns on his four carries totaling 40 yards.
On defense, had 48 tackles and came away with two

Quarterback
The first sophomore to start the season at quarterback
under coach Ken Leonard, the first-year varsity player was
139-for-203 with 1,853 passing. He had 19 touchdowns and
threw just four interceptions. He also ran for 775 yards on
133 carries, scoring another 10 TDs. Named to the Illinois
High School Football Coaches Association Academic AllState Team.

Wide receiver
In his first year of high school football, Balster finished
with 28 receptions, 637 yards and caught 10 touchdowns.
In his debut, he had two catches for 99 yards and two
touchdowns.

Running back/defensive back
Finished with 666 rushing yards on 70 carries and scored
10 touchdowns. He scored two more times on touchdown
passes from Miles McAdams and totaled 151 receiving yards
on eight catches. On defense, he finished with 45 tackles.

Linebacker
Recorded 120 tackles, an interception and a fumble
recovery. Scored the first SHG touchdown on the brandnew Cyclone Stadium artificial turn. Was also one of
three Cyclones named to the Illinois High School Football
Coaches Association Academic All-State Team.

Running back/linebacker
Led the Tornadoes with 80 tackles — 44 solo — and four
sacks, making the all-conference team for the second
consecutive year. He added 295 rushing yards on 56 carries
and got the job done in the classroom, being named to the
Illinois High School Football Coaches Association Academic
All-State Team.

Wide receiver/defensive back
On defense, had 44 tackles, three interceptions and
recovered three fumbles — and two of those came
against Chatham Glenwood that he returned for a pair
of 50-yard touchdowns. He also had the game-saving
interception against Glenwood as SHG won 40-35. On
offense, he caught 28 passes for 338 yards and four
touchdowns.

Running back
Led the Titans with 1,480 rushing yards on 203 carries,
averaging 7.3 yards per carry and scored 17 touchdowns. He
also had the team’s third-most receiving yardage with 172
on eight catches, scoring once. He averaged 20.8 yards per
kickoff return as well. Repeat all-conference selection.

Had 83 tackles on defense. On offense, anchored an
offensive line that allowed the Cyclones to move the ball
so well all season with close to 4,000 rushing yards and

Wide receiver
Led the team in both receptions (76) and
receiving yards (1,127) and finished with nine
receiving touchdowns and three rushing
scores on just five runs. On 13 kickoff returns,
Pasley averaged 34.5 yards and scored
twice, both times in the playoffs. He finished

Led the Titans with 119 tackles, 68 solo, broke up
four passes, caused two fumbles, intercepted a

weapon due to his size, he caught a team-high 44
passes for 821 yards, scoring 17 times. He made his
first all-CS8 team last season as a sophomore.

On offense, about the only positions he didn’t play
at one time or another this season were center

run for one touchdown and catch two more in the
postseason.

A third-year starter and a two-year All-CS8 player,
McAdams played in 38 games, winning 29 of them,
over his three-year career. In 2012, he finished 87for-154 with 1,553 yards, 24 touchdowns and just
four interceptions. He ended his career with 4,245
passing yards and 48 touchdowns, both second in
school history behind Griff Jurgens.

Despite a broken metacarpal bone in his
right hand suffered in the second round of
the Class 4A playoffs, Watson and his cast
came to play every game. He finished with
66 tackles on defense. At fullback, he could
be seen opening big holes for the Rochester

Quarterback/free safety
Combined to throw and run for nearly 2,100
yards. He had 988 rushing yards on 188
carries and completed 63 of 125 passes for
1,104 yards and 17 touchdowns. He also ran
for 13 touchdowns. He deflected 12 passes

Linebacker/running back
The University of Wisconsin-committed linebacker and
Central State Eight Conference Player of the Year finished
with 132 tackles, including 81 solo, 18 tackles for loss and
14 ½ sacks, all team highs. In 14 games, Dooley finished
with 1,456 rushing yards on 203 carries and ran for 32
touchdowns. He also caught 34 passes for 474 yards,
which led to another five touchdowns. He was also allconference in 2011.

Senior/6-0, 180
Wide receiver/defensive back
Caught 24 passes for 425 yards and five touchdowns. He
was the only Rockets’ player to return an interception for a
touchdown, pulling the feat twice. Finished with 48 tackles.

Quarterback
The fourth straight quarterback from Rochester to go play
for a Division I college, the Eastern Illinois University-bound
Green quickly shed the shadow of Wes Lunt and forged his
own identity as a dual threat. He finished 205-for-283 with
2,794 yards passing while tossing 23 touchdowns and only
seven interceptions.

Wide receiver
Had 27 receptions for 239 yards and three touchdowns
but also scored on 50 percent of his carries, getting
two touchdowns on his four carries totaling 40 yards.
On defense, had 48 tackles and came away with two
interceptions.

Quarterback
The first sophomore to start the season at quarterback
under coach Ken Leonard, the first-year varsity player was
139-for-203 with 1,853 passing. He had 19 touchdowns and
threw just four interceptions. He also ran for 775 yards on
133 carries, scoring another 10 TDs. Named to the Illinois
High School Football Coaches Association Academic AllState Team.

Senior/5-10, 160
Wide receiver
In his first year of high school football, Balster finished
with 28 receptions, 637 yards and caught 10 touchdowns.
In his debut, he had two catches for 99 yards and two
touchdowns.

Running back/defensive back
Finished with 666 rushing yards on 70 carries and scored
10 touchdowns. He scored two more times on touchdown
passes from Miles McAdams and totaled 151 receiving yards
on eight catches. On defense, he finished with 45 tackles.

Senior/5-8, 170
Linebacker
Recorded 120 tackles, an interception and a fumble
recovery. Scored the first SHG touchdown on the brandnew Cyclone Stadium artificial turn. Was also one of
three Cyclones named to the Illinois High School Football
Coaches Association Academic All-State Team.

Running back/linebacker
Led the Tornadoes with 80 tackles — 44 solo — and four
sacks, making the all-conference team for the second
consecutive year. He added 295 rushing yards on 56 carries
and got the job done in the classroom, being named to the
Illinois High School Football Coaches Association Academic
All-State Team.
ERIC BRYDL

Senior/6-1, 170
Wide receiver/defensive back
On defense, had 44 tackles, three interceptions and
recovered three fumbles — and two of those came
against Chatham Glenwood that he returned for a pair
of 50-yard touchdowns. He also had the game-saving
interception against Glenwood as SHG won 40-35. On
offense, he caught 28 passes for 338 yards and four
touchdowns.

Running back
Led the Titans with 1,480 rushing yards on 203 carries,
averaging 7.3 yards per carry and scored 17 touchdowns. He
also had the team’s third-most receiving yardage with 172
on eight catches, scoring once. He averaged 20.8 yards per
kickoff return as well. Repeat all-conference selection.

Had 83 tackles on defense. On offense, anchored an
offensive line that allowed the Cyclones to move the ball
so well all season with close to 4,000 rushing yards and
over 1,800 passing yards.

Led the team in both receiving and tackles. On offense,
he caught 14 passes for 252 yards. On defense, had 77
tackles — 46 solo — and had one interception.
