Deux premiers rangs
First two rows
a/ Enfiler 3 Delica et repasser l’aiguille par le
premier Delica pour former un triangle ferme.
b/ Enfiler 2 Delica supplémentaires, repasser
par le second Delica sur le rang initial
c/ Continuer ainsi autour du triangle, en
ajoutant 2 Delica entre chaque Delica du rang
initial. A la fin, repasser au travers du 1er
Delica du nouveau rang, pour sortir dans un
“coin” du triangle

a/ On a comfortable length of thread, string 3
Delica, and go through the first bead again to
form a circle.
b/ String 2 Delica, and go through the next
Delica of the initial row
c/ Go all the way around the initial triangle,
adding two Delica between each Delica. Step
up through he first Delica of the new row in the
end, to exit between 2 “corner” Delica

Troisième rang

a/ Dans le coin, enfiler 2 Delica et repasser par
le Delica suivant
b/ Sur le “cote” du triangle, enfiler un Delica,
sauter un Delica et passer au travers du Delica
(en mode Peyote)
c/ Continuer autour du triangle, en alternant 2
Delica dans les coins (comme en Herringbone)
avec un Delica en “Peyote” sur les faces. A la
fin, repasser par le 1er Delica du rang

a/ Add 2 Delica in the corner, go through the
next Delica of the previous row
b/ On the side of the triangle, add 1 Delica in
peyote between the 2 “up” beads
c/ Go all the way around the triangle, adding
two Delica at each corner (as if doing
Herringbone), and 1 Delica between 2 up
beads on the sides. Step up through the first
Delica of the new row in the end

Quatrième rang
Fourth row
a/ A présent, enfiler un Delica et une Rocaille
11 et passer par la perle suivante
b/ Continuer autour du triangle en faisant les
faces en Delica, et en ajoutant a chaque angle
un Delica plus une Rocaille 11. Repasser au
travers du premier Delica du nouveau rang a la
fin du rang.

a/ Now, string one Delica and one 11/0 seed
bead, and go through the next bead
b/ Continue around the triangle, adding Delica
on the triangle sides, and one Delica plus one
11/0 seed bead in each corner of the triangle.

Cinquième rang
Fifth row
a/ Enfiler 1 Delica et deux rocailles 15 avant de
repasser par la rocaille 11. Dans le reste du
design, on traitera ces deux rocailles 15 comme
si elles étaient une seule et même perle
b/ Ajouter une rocaille 11 et passer dans le
Delica suivant. Dorénavant, on ajoutera toujours
une perle de même nature que celle dont on
vient de sortir
c/ Continuer ainsi tout autour du triangle
a
a/ String 1 Delica and two 15/0 seed beads, then
go through the next bead (the 11/0 seed bead).
From now on, we’ll treat these two 15/0 seed
bead as if they were one and always string them
together
b/ String one 11/0 seed bead and go around the
circle. On the triangle sides, we’ll always match
the bead we add to the one we just exited
c/ Go through the triangle and step up at the end

Sixième, septième et huitième rangs
Rows six to eight
Pour tous les rangs, respecter ces 3 règles:
traiter les 15/0 comme une seule perle, a
chaque coin ajouter les mêmes perles qu’en
début de rang, et sur les cotes, toujours enfiler
une perle similaire a celle dont on vient de sortir
a/ Commencer ce rang par 1 Delica et 1 Roc. 8
b/ Commencer le suivant par 1 Delica et deux
Roc. 15
c/ Pour le suivant,1 Delica et une Roc. 11

For all rows, respect these 3 rules: treat the 15/0
seed bead as one, string in each corner the
same beads as for the beginning of the row, and
for the sides, always add the same bead(s) you
just exited
a/ Start with one Delica and one 8/0 seed bead
b/ Next row, start with one Delica and two 15/0
seed beads (SB)
c/ Next, start with one Delica and one 11/0 SB

Neuvième, dixième et onzième rang
Rows nine to eleven
a/, b/ et c/ Pour les trois rangs suivants, ajouter
2 Delica
a/, b/ and c/ For each of the following three
rows, add 2 Delica in the corner
A la fin de ces trois nouveaux rangs, on obtient
dans chaque coin une pointe formée par
l’empilement des 3 Delica.
A cette étape du design, le triangle commence a
être très gondole
After completing these three rows, in each
corner, we end up with a small pointed tip made
up from 3 stacked Delica
At this stage, the triangle starts being quite wavy
already, which is fine

a/ et b/ Pour les cinq rangs suivants, on va
répéter la séquence réalisée aux rangs 4 a 8: 1

+ 1 Roc 8; 1 Delica + 2 Roc 15; 1 Delica + 1 Roc

a/ Réaliser un second triangle similaire au
premier
b/ Créer un rang 19 “normal” commençant par 2
Delica
Si vous êtes familier avec les assemblages de
formes géométriques classique, contrairement a
ceux-ci, ici dans chaque coin du triangle on
ajoute bien deux Delica supplémentaires (et non
pas un seul)

a/ Make a second similar triangle
b/ After stepping up, add a “normal” row 19,
starting with two Delica beads
In case you are familiar with the zipping up of
classical geometrical shapes, as opposed to
these, in this case we’ll add two Delica at each
corner of the triangle (instead of just one)

Assemblage

a/ Ajouter un Delica dans l’angle et repasser par
le Delica suivant
b/ A présent, en mettant les deux triangles “dos
a dos”, passer par le premier Delica de l’autre
triangle (voir schéma sur la page 11)
c/ Continuer a assembler tout autour du triangle
en ajoutant un Delica dans chaque coin, puis
finir le fil (voir schéma 11)
A chaque coin, un petit pic de 3 perles émerge

back to back, go through the first Delica of the

c/ Keep on zipping up all around the triangle,

When zipping up the two triangles, the
edges will come nicely together, allowing
the pattern on each side to blend
seamlessly into each other.
The wave will then look like it was woven
from one side to each other
When zipping up, you probably will have to
unfold the edges of the triangles to have
access to the edge beads
