BASKETBALL CAMP
PROMOTING THE INDIANA PACERS AND FEVER
Coach Townsley brings over 25 years of professional instruction
experience, has served over 6,500 clinics worldwide and has
worked with players from ages 4 to NBA professionals. “We want
you to have the chance to learn professional skills, at an easy to
understand level. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to share
in the basketball experience of the Greater Dayton YMCA’s
Summer Camp. In addition, we look forward to having each participant join us at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, on the
home court of the Indiana Pacers and Fever basketball.”
The camp will be visiting the Indiana Pacers facility, Banker’s Life
Fieldhouse, on the last day of camp. During this trip the campers
will tour the facility and play games on the same court where the
Pacers play their games. In addition the campers will attend an
Indiana Fever game that evening.

LEGO CAMP
WHAT WILL YOU CREATE?
Lego Camp is not another daycare camp that lets kids just play
with Lego’s, it is a learning experience. When combined with
the Early Simple Machines Activities, young students will be
able to build fun and simple models using colorful elements
such as a seesaw, rolling vehicle, spinning top, raft, and many
more. By playing with and manipulating the models, children
experience pulleys, levers, gears, and wheels and axles while
exploring energy, buoyancy, and balance. We will work as
teams to build and display Simple Machines made out of Legos.

daily schedule. Frontier campers cook their own pizza dinner on Monday night, and
follow it up with a Frontier campout and campfire. Frontier is the best week in the
