their high stain and abrasion resistance. Coupled with high scratch resistance and greater
impact strength, these tiles are suitable for
use in any area. Mirage Tiles are also Frost,
Thermal Shock and Crazing proof.
Mirage is also the pioneer in introducing ‘Polished Granilla’ which was designed to life us-
ing state-of-the-art technology including our
48-head polishing machine at our 5,00,000
sq. ft. state-of-the-art plant at Daund in Pune.
Our plant also boasts of its own Laboratories
& Testing facilities, a dedicated Quality Control team and an initial production capacity of
6000 sq. meter/day, which will soon reach
16,000 square meters/day.

LAYING PROCEDURE FOR MIRAGE GVT TILES
BELOW INSTRUCTIONS SUPERSEDES THE INSTRUCTIONS PRINTED ON OUR CARTONS
LAYING PROCEDURE
1. Please take out tiles from the boxes simultaneously and dry lay on floor.
2. Kindly look for the arrow mark (→) on the back of the tile and follow the laying
pattern as shown.
3. Examine the dry laid tiles for uniformity of shade & size since some amount of
shade/ size variations are inherent in all fired Ceramic Products.
4. Alter position wherever required until a uniform acceptable blend is achieved.
5. Number the tiles in the order layed with a piece of chalk.
6. Fix the tiles with tile fixing adhesive in the same number order.
7. The company bears no responsibility towards the tiles exposed to any outside
processes like transfers, printing, re-firing, etc.
IMPORTANT TILE FIXING INSTRUCTIONS

1. All the tiles must be checked prior to fixing for Quality, Batch no, etc…
2. Plaster the surface of the floor to be tiled with a good float finish and allow curing
atleast two weeks before tilling. DO NOT FIX TILES ON FRESH SURFACE.
3. Before fixing the tiles draw tiles from 4-5 different boxes simultaneously and lay
them out in the desired pattern. Make sure that they give an acceptable blend of
color. Also make sure that the tiles are acceptable to your satisfaction. Please note
that some amount of shade variation is inherent in all fired Ceramic Products.
4. We strictly recommend to use TILE SPACERS of 2-3 mm between tiles as per in
ternationally accepted laying practices more particularly for VITRIFIED TILES.
5. For fixing MIRAGE CERAMICS TILES, we recommend to use tile fixing
adhesives or equivalent product for the better result. Follow the tile fixing instruc
tions provided along with the adhesives also.
6. For fixing tiles, conventional cement-sand mixture can be used in the ratio of 1:3.
7. Fifteen minutes after fixing the tiles, wipe with a damp sponge and clean the tile
with a soft, dry cloth. DO NOT SCRUB OR SCRATCH.
8. Allow 3-4 days of bed curing after laying the tiles & after this period fill the joints
with suitable grout.
9. For cleaning the tiles, use water or dilute soap solution followed by water with soft,
moist cloth or sponge.
10. Please note that the Company does not accept any liability in case of problems
arising out of non-adherence to these above tile fixing instructions.
NOTE: MIRAGE CERAMICS responsibilities are only limited upto the replacement of
defective materials if any prior to fixing of tiles. No claims of any nature will be
entertained once the tiles are fixed.
