The nature inspired furniture
The love for Palm Wood and the
nature, has inspired us on our latest
very limited collection of handcrafted
furniture, the “Seribumi series”.
Besides, we also want to showcase
to the world that Palm Wood from
Malaysia with its aesthetic natural
grains is capable to create very unique
furniture pieces. Even more so when
combine with other exotic natural
material like rattan.
We particularly love the Seribumi
series. It was like a hidden treasure of
the earth which glitters with bright
yellow or green and exotic red,
revealed underneath its natural wood
exterior.
SERIBUMI
The Seribumi series are further
enhanced with other natural resources
widely available in our country.
Malaysia itself has 1/6 of the total
rattan species in the world! What an
exciting combination of both rattan
and Palm Wood. Both extremely
natural and exotic!
Tanamera Furniture
Tanamera, named after a beautiful
village known as “Tanah Merah”,
located at Kelantan state, the
northern part of West Malaysia.
Tanah Merah with its serene natural
beauty and rich Malay culture is so
captivating that it remains in our
heart, mind and soul in designing
every single piece of Tanamera
furniture. What an inspiration to our
design!

furniture uses
‘The Eco Wood’
The main wood that we use in the
“Seribumi series” is Palm Wood
which suits our theme “Nature Our
Inspiration”. It is “THE WOOD”
which inspires our design with its
naturally aesthetic grains. This wood
that we love so much is also friendly to
the eco system. Aged oil palm trunks are
collected for the production of timber
when there are felled for replanting at
the end of the life cycle, and this makes
it an excellent sustainable resources. Oil
palm cultivated in Malaysia removes
large amount of carbon dioxide from the
atmosphere. This fact has been recognised
and documented in Malaysia’s national
carbon accounting which was submitted
to UNFCCC in 2011.

Today, after 20 years of research, Palm
Wood is comparable to the tropical
hardwood and having a much stable
property; it can withstand different
weather condition. What a good
alternative for furniture designers, like
a wish comes true for us to make such
exotic piece of furniture with it.
