Why not invite your family and friends to your wedding onboard one of our
fun-ships and invite them to celebrate and sail away with you? Maybe not
everyone can get away; we have another idea, invite them anyway! They can
still be a part of your special day; view your wedding and celebrate with a
reception of your choice, and while you get ready to set sail, they’ll be wishing
they had booked too. We offer packages that can accommodate both sailing
and non-sailing guests.

We offer a number of wedding venues on the beach, island resort or garden.
Picture the setting, a scenic, tropical island, blue skies, turquoise oceans and
sea-scented breezes and the two of you exchanging your vows. Ahhh, what

• Weddings taking place on the following holidays*: Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day, are subject to a $200.00 surcharge.
*Ceremonies on these dates are not available in all ports. Regarding holidays, in our various
ports; different countries and islands observe various holidays, some restrictions may apply and
additional court fees could apply.
An additional service fee of $200.00 will apply for every 50 guests attending the onboard weddings (this count includes the bride & groom). Additional Service fees will vary by port, services
and guest counts on Island Breeze weddings.
An additional $1,000.00 charge shall apply for onboard and onshore weddings booked through
Carnival for voyages on the Carnival Breeze, Carnival Dream, Carnival Freedom, Carnival Magic,
Carnival Sunshine, and Carnival Vista.
The license fees indicated are subject to change and additional fees such as, however not limited
to certified copies, apostilles, and holiday dates could apply depending on port and individual
circumstance. In some ports the wedding couple may be required to arrive early and could be
subject to a waiting period. For legal weddings taking place in the Bahamas, your ship must be
in Bahamian waters for a least a period of 24 hours. For more information on licensing, including
fees and requirements, please contact the Wedding Department.

We know it’s important for you to personalize your special day
with your own finishing touches. While our wedding packages
contain some of the must haves, we have other options for you
to choose and add to make your experience most memorable.
Whether it’s floral upgrades, ceremony enhancements, favors,
or salon appointments, our wedding vendors understand too
and have a number of services and ideas to offer. If planning a
wedding later in the cruise, Carnival Spa can be contacted for
salon appointments. Please note due to time constraints, for
weddings on embarkation day we are unable to offer onboard
salon appointments. If arriving a day prior, please consult with our
wedding vendors or your hotel’s salon for possible appointments.
Upon booking your wedding, information on additional services
offered will be provided to you.
Some additional points to keep in mind, given the venue,
there are some restrictions –
• A maximum of 50 non-sailing guests will be allowed
per wedding
• Bubbles, rice, confetti, balloons, candles, bird seed, and/or fresh rose petals will not be allowed at any wedding.
• Personal Cake servers and knives will not be allowed
• Fresh flowers and food items cannot be boarded and taken
off the ship in any port
• Couples providing own minister for religious ceremonies
are limited to 20 minutes

Well, we hear they are pretty yummy. We’ll let you decide; there are cake flavors such as red velvet, carrot, lemon. We only listed a few to get your taste buds watering.
Of course we have the traditional flavors too of chocolate and vanilla. Add fillings like coconut, strawberries, or chocolate ganache finished with a white buttercream frosting.
Your wedding cake will be baked fresh the day of your wedding.

YOUR BOUQUET & FLOWERS
Selecting your bridal bouquet is almost as important a decision as your dress. All packages include one bouquet with matching boutonniere. We created a standard
bouquet hand-tied of 8 fresh white roses in our U.S. embarkation ports. In some ports the standard bouquet will be fresh tropical seasonal stems or silk; in most ports
we’ll be able to provide a customized ribbon color. For more details, your Wedding Planner can give you more information and ideas. Our Wedding Vendors can also offer
additional flower options or bouquets as an upgrade. If you would like to bring your own flowers, these must be silk due to U. S. Agricultural restrictions. Fresh flowers
cannot be taken off of the ship.

How can I book a wedding?
That’s easy! Call us! Once you’ve confirmed the wedding space is available and booked your Carnival
cruise, our Personal Wedding Planners can secure your wedding package. Carnival’s Wedding
Department is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST. You may contact the Wedding
Department at 1-800-933-4968. Due to limited space all wedding reservations will be allocated on a
first come, first serve basis.
Can I pay a deposit for the wedding?
Full payment is due at the time of booking your wedding package. Weddings can be booked by
phone with a credit card. Certified checks and money orders are accepted from Travel Agents only.
Do I need to cruise to have a wedding onboard?
Yes. The wedding couple are required to sail. It’s the perfect start to your honeymoon! We do
welcome both sailing and non-sailing guests in most ports.* *In tendering ports, non-sailing guests
are not permitted onboard.
What is the maximum number of guests I can have at my wedding?
The maximum number of guests attending a wedding is based on the package booked.
The maximum number of Non-Sailing guests attending a wedding is fifty (50).
At what time do my wedding guests and I need to be at the port?
Priority Boarding is provided for couples being married the day of embarkation, once the ship is cleared
by U.S. customs. Arrival time for wedding guests is usually 10:30 a.m. for most ports. These times are
provided with embarkation instructions through our Wedding Department based on the sailing port.
You must be at the pier at the time indicated by your wedding planner for priority boarding. Please be
prompt. (Couples being married later in the cruise will follow general boarding procedures.)
How long is the wedding ceremony?
The ceremony is approximately fifteen to twenty minutes.
What’s included in the ship’s onboard wedding ceremony set up?
The onboard wedding set up includes an aisle runner, two pillars with white silk floral arrangements.
What is the deadline to book a wedding?
60 business days prior to sailing.

Is the cruise price included with the wedding package?
No. The cost of the wedding package and services do not include the cruise. Your cruise purchase
would be handled separately.

Will my ceremony be performed by the Captain?
All wedding ceremonies are performed by a local Officiant provided by the wedding vendor.
How do you determine the room my wedding will be in?
Wedding lounges are assigned based on the number of guests and, entertainment selected for a
reception.
What time do the weddings start?
In most ports, weddings start at approximately 1:00 p.m.
Which time of the year is less expensive to have a wedding?
Wedding prices are set on an annual basis and subject to change. There are additional surcharges
during the months of January, February, May, June, and December. A holiday surcharge will apply
for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. Additional fees may apply in select ports on
various holidays. Please check with your wedding planner.
Can I renew my marriage vows onboard?
Yes! Say “I Do” all over again. Carnival Weddings provide Renewal of Marriage Vow ceremonies
for couples already legally married while the ship(s) is at sea.Our Renewal of vow ceremonies are
performed by the Ship’s Captain during the cruise*. We can provide an intimate setting for two,
or invite your friends and family for this special celebration, followed by a reception. Additional
amenities are also available. Please contact our Wedding Department for more information and to
book. Some restrictions may apply.
Do you perform same sex marriages?
Yes! Some of our ports acknowledge legal same sex wedding ceremonies, we will be happy to
assist you.*
*Where we can assist, in some ports we can also provide symbolic same sex ceremonies. Please
contact our Wedding Department for more information on which ports are available.
How can I get your wedding information on-line?

Can I use my own cake topper?
Yes, providing that your topper is cleared for boarding. A keepsake topper still will also be provided.
Can I get legally married while at Sea?
For legal reasons, we are unable to provide wedding ceremonies while the ship is at sea. Legal
wedding ceremonies are performed in select ports of call and follow the legal jurisdictions of those ports.

LET’S TALK MORE ABOUT YOUR WEDDING CEREMONY, after all, you have been imagining this day for some time.
Carnival Weddings provides legally binding wedding services in accordance with the laws that govern the port in which
the vows are being exchanged. We’ll talk more about your legal wedding under licensing requirements. Civil ceremonies
are performed in English by a Notary Public. Ceremonies in the ports of St. Thomas, Galveston, New Orleans, California,
ceremony
Barbados, Nassau, Half Moon Cay, Freeport, Grand Turk, Jamaica and Grand Cayman are non-denominational and
performed by a Minister. Weddings in Cozumel are performed by a Judge, in Spanish and translated to English. Our
shipboard weddings will include an aisle runner, and silk floral arrangements in a private lounge. Island Breeze wedding setups may vary depending on location; couples are encouraged to enhance their ceremony venues with upgrade options.
All ceremonies are performed in port before the ship sails. Carnival has chosen several ideal locations onboard at which
to have your wedding ceremony and reception. Locations are determined based on the number of guests attending,
length of reception and entertainment requests. Ceremony times and locations are confirmed with you within two
weeks of sailing. We try our best to stick to a strict schedule, however delays or changes due to unforeseen events
can happen. For weddings scheduled during the cruise, it is not recommended that you and your guests plan shore
excursions on the same day as your wedding.
LET’S GET STARTED… HOW DO I BOOK? Once you’ve confirmed the wedding space is available and booked
your Carnival cruise, our Personal Wedding Planners can secure your wedding package. Our Planners will be there
every step of the way, giving you guidance on which package is best for you, guiding you with licensing requirements,
book
entertainment, menus and upgrades. All weddings taking place at any of our U.S. ports are subject to applicable sales
tax. Please refer to the pricing port chart for more information.
Wedding packages can be booked with a major credit card by phone; full payment for the wedding package is due at
the time of booking. Advanced reservations are required if you would like to mail in your payment with a travel agency
check, cashier’s check or money order. Due to a limited amount of space, if you wish to mail in your payment, your
wedding reservation will be put on a courtesy hold for 48 hours. Given the demand, after 48 hours the hold is dropped.

Some other things to consider…your PRE-CRUISE TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS. We strongly recommend our
wedding couples and their guests arrive at least one day prior to sailing to avoid late flights, traffic, etc., on their
wedding day. Arriving to the homeport city the day prior is not a requirement for the wedding program, only a
suggestion, however, we want this day to be stress free for you and work diligently to provide early boarding to our
wedding couples and their guests.
You will want to work with your travel agent, Carnival’s Reservations or Group Reservations Departments to
coordinate your pre-cruise travel packages. For a nominal fee, Carnival’s Air Sea Deviation Department will coordinate
your customized flight times; your travel agent must make arrangements with Carnival’s Air Sea Deviation Department,
no later than 45 days prior to your cruise. Please note, transportation transfers that Carnival offers to the port will not
get you there on time for your wedding. These transfers are for regular boarding. Please make alternate arrangements
for prompt transportation to the pier.
You’re our VIPs, we want to ensure you receive PRIORITY CHECK-IN. Priority boarding is provided for couples
getting married the day of embarkation, once the ship is cleared by U.S. Customs. Please pay special attention to
your boarding information to ensure you are at the pier on time for priority boarding. Please be prompt. You and
your guests, sailing and non-sailing must arrive together to board together with priority boarding. Couples who have
selected a wedding package later in the cruise will follow general boarding procedures.
Proper travel documentation is required at embarkation and throughout the cruise. Even though a guest has
completed registration using online check-in, it is still the responsibility of the guest to bring all required travel
documents . Please refer to carnival.com, cruise preparation topic under FAQS - what is the required travel
documentation for all ports?
Your WEDDING GUESTS are important to us too! Please ensure they arrive with you promptly, with proper photo
identification. We’ll need your final guest list along with payment on any additional guests no later than 30 business
days prior to the cruise. No refunds will be provided for guests that are no shows. Guests wishing to cancel the week
of sailing will be considered “no shows” and no refunds will be provided. An additional service fee (see pages 11-12
for applicable fee) will apply for every 50 guests attending the wedding, whether they are children or adults, including
the wedding couple. Payment for all additional guests must be made 30 business days prior to sailing. An additional

$25.00 processing fee will apply for all changes made to the final guest list within 30 business days prior to the sail date.
No changes or additions can be made, within 10 business days prior to the sailing date. Guest’s cancellation within the week
of sailing will be considered no-show and are non-refundable.

For The Soon-To-Be Couple a note on LICENSING REQUIREMENTS. While we can give assistance or licensing information,
all couples are responsible for obtaining their own marriage license. You must obtain a license from the state or island where
the wedding will be performed. With most wedding packages, licensing fees are separate from the wedding package price
and are non-refundable. While most jurisdictions recognize marriages formalized in foreign jurisdictions, not all do. You are
responsible for determining whether a wedding performed in a foreign jurisdiction will be recognized in your home jurisdiction.
Our Wedding Planners will include further information explaining how to obtain your marriage license and any applicable fees at
the time of booking your wedding package.
CANCELLATION POLICY - We understand, sometimes things come up. Written cancellation must be received in our
office by the date specified below by the wedding couple if you wish to cancel your wedding. Weddings must be cancelled
separately from your cruise. Our Cancellation Policy is as follows: Full refund if cancelled 76 days prior to sailing, $150.00
cancellation charge 75 to 46 days prior to sailing, 50% of total wedding charges 45 to 8 days prior to sailing. Unfortunately,
no refund is applicable if canceled within 7 days of sailing. Certain locations will require the payment of a non-refundable
deposit that will not be subject to this refund policy.
CHANGE IN ITINERARY, CANCELLATION OR DELAY BY CARNIVAL- Carnival has the right without previous notice to
cancel, reschedule or delay performance of the wedding agreement at the port of embarkation or any time during the cruise
for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to (i) charter of the vessel, (ii) the ship’s Master exercising his discretion,
for any purpose, to deviate in any direction or for any purpose from the direct or usual course, and to omit or change any
or all ports of call; arrival or departure times, with or without notice for any reason whatsoever, all such deviations being
considered as forming part of an included in the proposed voyage, or (iii) any reason beyond Carnival’s reasonable control;
without prior notice, and shall not be held liable for damages, compensation and any inconveniences caused to our guests by
reason of such cancellation or rescheduling.
ALL PACKAGE TERMS AND PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.

information included here is general; detailed information such as contracts/agreements, procedures, amenities, requirements
and pier directions will be mailed to you after you have booked your Carnival wedding package. Our goal is to make your
