FILLING
VALVE
To fill lighter:
1. Always fill the lighter in the upside down position
as shown. Do not remove the inside unit of the
lighter – the filling valve is on the bottom of the lighter.
Fill lighter in well-ventilated area. Hold away from face when filling lighter.
2. Read warnings on gas canister prior to filling. Place gas fuel nozzle into
filling valve and depress and hold for five seconds, repeat two or three
times with firm, even pressure.
3. Wait at least 2 minutes before igniting your lighter. This allows for excess
gas to evaporate and the gas in the lighter to stabilize.
STEP 2 EASY TO LIGHT
1. Open the lid.
2. Press firmly down on the flint wheel and hold
down for one second.
3. Using thumb, rotate the flint wheel.
4. Continue to roll thumb downward and depress
gas release button, blue flame starts.
5. Warning - flame may be invisible in bright light.
6. Do not point lighter towards face.
7. Flame is not adjustable.
8. To extinguish, remove thumb from the gas
release button.
9. Close the lid.

A groundbreaking feature of this lighter is its flint wheel ignition system.
No other blue flame lighter has the genuine Zippo flint wheel, which is
more reliable and provides more strikes than other blue flame lighter
ignition systems. Plus, the wheel-and-flint ignition system’s easy-change
modular design makes service a snap. For best performance, use
only genuine Zippo flints.
Flint Replacement
1. Open the lid.
2. Pull up on the wheel/flint unit.
3. Removing the wheel/flint unit from the lighter,
turn wheel/flint unit upside down and loosen
the screw by hand or with a screw-driver or
thin coin.

PERFORMANCE TIPS
Higher elevations/Colder temperatures
Like all gas lighters, the performance of this lighter is affected
by high altitudes over 1,500 meters. For optimum performance,
use Zippo Premium Gas fuel. Use of other brands may result in
clogging and poor ignition rate, especially at high altitudes and
below-freezing temperatures.
All gas lighters must be kept above freezing in order to operate.
Storing lighter in an inner pocket or warming it in your hand for a
few minutes will enable the lighter to be used at cold temperatures.
Cleaning the burner
For long-term reliability, occasionally clean out the lighter. Close the lid
and turn it upside down. Then gently tap the lighter lid onto a flat surface
a few times to loosen any carbon build-up in the valve systems. Open lid
and shake out any debris with lighter in top down position. Do not use
pressurized air, paper clips or other foreign objects to clean the lighter,
this will void the warranty.
Any Zippo gas pocket lighter, when returned to Zippo, will be put in
first-class mechanical condition free of charge. We have yet to charge a
cent for the repair of a Zippo pocket lighter regardless of age or condition.
The finish, however, is not guaranteed. Misuse or
tampering will void the Guarantee.

pocket lighter is backed by our guarantee:

REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS
1. Expel all gas from lighter by depressing and holding the gas release
button. Do this in a well-ventilated area away from a fire or
source of sparks.
2. Pack lighter in an oversized box or padded shipping bag. Include
your name, address, telephone number and email address
inside the package.
3. Ship the lighter, via ground service, to the address listed below.
Zippo strongly recommends using a shipping service which offers
package tracking. Use of non-trackable mail to ship your lighter
is at your own risk.

We are proud to back our lighters with our world-famous lifetime
guarantee and want to be sure that you don’t do anything to your Zippo
BLU lighter which could void the guarantee. Do not attempt to repair
inside assembly. There are no user serviceable parts inside. Removing

IGNIÇÃO POR PEDRA DE ISQUEIRO
Para encher o isqueiro:
1. Encha sempre o isqueiro na posição invertida
ilustrada a seguir. Não retire a unidade interna do isqueiro
– a válvula de enchimento situa-se na parte inferior do
isqueiro. Encha o isqueiro numa área bem ventilada.
Mantenha o isqueiro longe do rosto durante o enchimento.
2. Leia os avisos da embalagem de gás antes de proceder ao enchimento. Introduza
o bico de gás na válvula de enchimento e prima continuamente durante cinco
segundos; repita duas ou três vezes com uma pressão firme e uniforme.
3. Aguarde pelo menos 2 minutos antes de acender o isqueiro. Desta forma, o
excesso de gás evapora-se e o gás dentro do isqueiro estabiliza-se.
CONSELHOS DE UTILIZAÇÃO
ETAPA 2 - FÁCIL DE ACENDER
1. Abra a tampa.
2. Prima firmemente o topo da pedra
do isqueiro durante um segundo.
3. Com o polegar, rode a pedra do isqueiro.
4. Prima o botão de libertação de gás com o
polegar; acende-se uma chama azul.
5. Aviso – a chama pode não ser visível em
condições de muita luz.
6. Não aponte o isqueiro para o rosto.
7. A chama não é ajustável.
8. Para apagar, retire o polegar do botão de
libertação de gás.
9. Feche a tampa.

ETAPA 1 - ENCHER COM GÁS
Os novos isqueiros de bolso a gás Zippo apresentam-se
vazios. Recomendamos o gás Zippo Premium Gas. A
utilização de outro gás pode provocar avarias no isqueiro
e anular a garantia.
É com todo o orgulho que a Zippo apresenta a próxima etapa na evolução
para a chama perfeita: o isqueiro de bolso a gás Zippo. Fabricado nos EUA,
o isqueiro a gás resistente ao vento Zippo é incomparável, fornecendo
sempre uma chama limpa e constante, inodora e insípida.
Grandes altitudes/Temperaturas muito baixas
Tal como acontece com todos os isqueiros a gás, o desempenho
deste isqueiro é afectado por grandes altitudes, acima dos 1.500
metros. Para obter o melhor desempenho, use combustível Zippo
Premium Gas. A utilização de outras marcas pode resultar em
entupimentos e numa fraca taxa de ignição, em especial a grandes
altitudes e com temperaturas abaixo de zero.
Para funcionar, todos os isqueiros a gás têm de ser mantidos
acima do ponto de congelamento. Se guardar o isqueiro num bolso
interior ou se o aquecer por alguns minutos na mão, poderá usar
o isqueiro com temperaturas baixas.

Para manter o bom funcionamento a longo prazo, limpe ocasionalmente
o isqueiro. Feche a tampa e inverta a posição do isqueiro. Bata algumas
vezes suavemente com a tampa do isqueiro contra uma superfície plana,
para soltar possíveis acumulações de carvão nos sistemas de válvulas.
Abra a tampa e sacuda os detritos com o isqueiro na posição invertida.
Não utilize ar comprimido, clips ou outros objectos estranhos para limpar
o isqueiro, para não anular a garantia.

Çakmağı doldurmak için:
