Poster Guidelines:
YOU WILL BE PROVIDED WITH A POSTER BOARD
Your poster must include ALL of the following:
0 The name of your Biome across the top
o Identify the country, countries or region your Biome can be found in
0 Map that identifies the location(s) of your Biome around the world (USE THE BLANK MAP
PROVIDED)
o Give information on abiotic factors affecting the ecosystems within your Biome, such as: ctimate,
temperature range, precipitation, sunlight, water conditions and seasonal variations.
0 Identify, illustrate and label the producers (plants) found in the ecosystems within your Biome
(must show a minimum of 4)
0 Identify, illustrate and [abet the primary consumers (herbivores) found in the ecosystems within
your Biome (must show a minimum of 4)
0 Identify, illustrate and label the secondary consumers (carnivores or omnivores) found in the
ecosystems within your Biome (must show a minimum of 3)
0 Identify at least TWO adaptations needed for plants to survive in your Biome
0 Identify at least TWO adaptations needed for animals to survive in your Biome
o List and describe at least THREE examples of competition for resources in your biome
o Identify the importance of your biome to humans (must have a minimum of 3)
o Identify human impact on your biome (positive/negative), include how it can be prevented or
reversed if possible
o Draw a basic food web showing the connections between the different producers and consumers must include all organisms listed above o Human impact scenario and effect on ecosystem and food web
o Write Names of all group members on the back
Presentation Guidelines:
MUST BE 2-3 MINUTES IN LENGTH
ALL MEMBERS MUST CONTRIBUTE
o Your presentation must include ALL of the information on your fact sheet!

rely on this biome for food? oxygen?
anything?)
Human Impact on Biome: (How have
humans positively or negatively
affected this biome? How can it be

one species from your food web is
removed from your ecosystem due to
human activities. Describe the cause
