Spend the Summer at a Girl Scout Day Camp
About our Camps
Come join the Girl Scouts of Washington Rock Council this
summer at our fun Summer Day Camps. For over 45 years,
we’ve been providing lasting memories in an environment that’s
both educational and fun. GSWRC Summer Day Camps can be
an extension of the activities done within the context of the Girl
Scout year or provide campers with their initial taste of the
countless benefits of Girl
Scouting as they wind their
way through the summer.
In 2007, the council will
offer camps in two locations -- old favorite
Elizabeth and newcomer
Scotch Plains. Campers
will take part in a plethora
of experiences whether they
come for a week or spend
the full four weeks. Among
the exciting aspects
campers for nearly five
decades have come to
expect at GSWRC Summer
Day Camps are:
Creative arts and crafts
Outdoor sports activities
Guest speakers that will share their expertise
Field trips to open the door to new experiences
Science and environmental programs
Time to bond with fellow campers
And much more
Girl Scout Summer Day Camp helps girls learn and develop
cooperation,
team work
and selfconfidence
while having
fun. The
cost of camp
includes
daily snacks,
program
supplies,
program
consultants
and day
trips.
Breakfast and lunch are provided at the Elizabeth location.
More information will be provided at the time of registration.
