he Sparrow family would like to invite you to our 8th Annual Production Sale on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 1 PM.
What a year of challenges!! Events of 31 inch snows, minus - 21 degree temps and 8 inches of rain all within 7
weeks of each other. Health challenges have been abundant from parents, grandparents and sons we have depended
on faith, family and friends to get us thru. Here we are with a great day before us and opportunity to own some of the
Angus breed’s best genetics. We encourage you to dive in and take advantage. We continue to be very optimistic about
the future of the cattle business in Kentucky!! We can produce cheap gains on grass better than any place in the world!
The Angus breed has excelled for years with a great producing and reproducing female that is sound, moderate and
efficient and calves sired by Angus bulls top the market for commercial producers. You can find both at this sale today!!
We have a great set of show heifer prospects, fall bred heifers, spring calved pairs, fall bred cows and 18-20 month old
bulls.
We at Bridge View Angus are self-owned and operated family farmers. We take great pride in selecting the best A.I.
sires in the Angus Breed, mate them to functional efficient females using technology and grow them on quality forage.
Bridge View Angus focuses on genetics that are maternal, efficient, good udders and structurally sound. The 18 month
old bulls are stout, have great EPD’s, docile and semen tested. We are pleased with the females and bulls offered in this
year’s sale and believe it to be our best set of cattle yet!!
When you study this sale offering you will find a super set of show heifer prospects. They have thickness, clean front
ends, structurally correct and very pleasing to the eye! They can have some fun in the show ring and later make foundation
females for your herd. Look at the fall bred heifers, well grown out, thick topped and will calve at 2 years of age. All vet
checked and cleared for cost share. You can find some fall bred productive cows and spring cow calf pairs. What a set of
bulls! They are 18-20 months old many with low birth weight EPD’S with extra growth!! These are bound to suit both
registered and commercial producers. These bulls are all BSE checked, docile and ready to work! As you can see we are
offering the TOP CUT OF OUR HERD!

Welcome to the 8th Annual Bridge View Production
Sale to be held on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at the Snavely
Road farm near Stamping Ground, Kentucky. Bring the
family and enjoy a nice Sunday afternoon outing beginning with an excellent complimentary lunch provided
by Bridge View Angus.
The 2015 Sale offering will once again provide an excellent selection of cattle to fit most any segment of the
beef cattle industry. The fall heifer calves have excellent show ring potential and the timing of the sale comes
right before the start of the busy summer show season.
The bred heifers have both the quality and the bloodlines to work in any herd in the Angus business. The
mature cow division of the sale includes more pairs,
both fall and spring, than in the past sales. The bull division is strong. Check the chart on page 23 that compares the sale bulls this year with all Angus bulls. The
Bridge View bulls excel over the national herd average
in all of the listed categories. With the price of feeder
cattle and fat cattle in today’s markets, the extra pounds
mean several extra dollars for the producer. Let these
bulls help add value to your next calf crop. The Bridge
View operation is one of the few family farm operations
still in existence today. All of the farm labor is provided
by the Sparrow family from Mom and Dad to the sons
to the in-laws and the grandchildren. The entire Sparrow family appreciates the support of the guest consignors in this sale and will highly recommend any of
the animals within the pages of this catalog.

he covered bridge at the community of
Switzer, 10 miles northeast of Frankfort,
was built in 1855 to carry traffic across
the north fork of Elkhorn Creek. When the old
bridge was replaced by a modern concrete bridge
in 1954, the 120-foot-long covered bridge was
preserved and became a favorite historical attraction in the county. It's one of only 13 covered
bridges remaining in Kentucky.

Bismarck 5682. SAV Heritage, the sire of this Bridge View donor female, is out of the same May family as

family as SAV Thunderbird. An Emblynette female topped the 2013 Central Kentucky Angus
Winter sale at $7500 and is now a treasured donor in the Newman Angus herd in Indiana.
Hoover Dam is one of the most popular and proven sires in the Angus breed. He is moderate
framed and powerful, combining high accuracy calving ease with top 1% REA.

The current status of each animal with regard to genetic defects is listed in catalog. The absence
of any such notation means the animal is copnsidered free of defects because there are no known
genetic defect carriers in the extended pedigree.
TRUCKING
Reliable truckers will be available to assist you sale day. Sellers will help pool loads to reduce
transportation expense.

There will be a supplemental sheet with updated breeding and calving information.
This sheet, and any announcements from the block, will take precedence over the sale book.
