l’idea - “gli specchi gioiello”
Fin dall’inizio della sua esistenza l’uomo ha sempre avuto la necessita’ di decorare il proprio corpo, di inviare messaggi,
comunicare la propria personalita’ ai suoi simili, dare un segno della propria storia e cultura, decorandosi il corpo, prima
con semplici colori e piu’ tardi addobbandolo di oggetti, monili, abiti piu’ o meno colorati. I veri significati di queste esigenze
sono oggi spesso perduti, ma i gioielli, in modo particolare, rimangono ancora uno specchio dell’anima, un segno distintivo,
un messaggio subliminale!! Anche oggi e’ possibile leggere il carattere, la personalita’, i desideri e la storia di una persona
dai gioielli che indossa.
Nel creare “NARCISSE” ho pensato a quale fosse l’oggetto di arredamento che piu’ degli altri potesse rappresentare la
personalita’ di chi lo possiede e la risposta e’ stata semplice ed automatica: LO SPECCHIO. Oggetto controverso, raccontato dalle favole e dalla mitologia, portatore di fortune e sventure, ispiratore di grandi amori, ma anche di storie terribili e
superstizioni. Le sue proprieta’ di riflessione hanno nella storia terrorizzato ed affascinato le persone, un oggetto amato
ed odiato nello stesso tempo, pieno di significati e di storia, creatore di fantastiche atmosfere, ma anche di orribili presagi.
Ecco perche’ ho immaginato lo specchio GIOIELLO!! Ho voluto creare un oggetto d’arredamento che chiunque potesse
“indossare” a suo piacimento, per inviare messaggi, per comunicare a chi gli sta attorno chi e’, che cosa fa, e cosa chiede
alla sua vita!! Li ho voluti preziosi ed eleganti, che raccontino la storia, ma che parlino del futuro, che trasmettano sensazioni
ed emozioni. Molteplici disegni che nascano da dinamiche diverse, formali, funzionali ed emozionali. Ogni modello deve
avere la sua personale storia, a seconda della persona che lo possiede e deve raccontarla con la sua presenza. Un oggetto
lussuoso perche’ il lusso di oggi e’ una filosofia di vita, e’ il comfort e con esso il tempo che ogni giorno dedichiamo a noi
stessi in un’atmosfera accogliente e rilassante, che sia specchio della nostra anima. Qualsiasi pezzo Voi scegliate sara’ il
Vostro...unico ed irripetibile...come lo e’ la Vostra vita.

the idea - “the mirrors - jewels”

Since the beginning of his existence, man has always had the necessity to decorate his own body, to send messages, to
communicate his own personality to his fellows, to give a sign to his culture and background by decorating his body, at first
with simple colours, then by adorning it with objects, jewels, and more or less decorated clothes. The real meaning of these needs are nowadays often lost, but jewels, in particular, still remain a mirror of the soul, a distinctive sign, a subliminal
message!
Even today it is possible to understand the temperament, the personality, the desires and also the background of a person
through the jewels that he is wearing.
In creating “Narcisse” I thought about which kind of piece of furniture could be able to represent the personality of the person
who possesses it and the answer to it was simple and automatical: the mirror. Contoversial object, narrated in fairy tales
and in mithology, carrier of both success and unluck, inspirer of great love stories, but also of terrible tales and superstitions.
In history, his capacity of reflection has terrified and fashinated people, a loved and at the same time hated object, full of
meaning and of history, creator of fantastis atmospheres, but even of terrible predictions. This is the reason why I imagined
the mirror JEWEL! I wanted to create a piece of furniture that anyone could be able to “wear” at will, to send messages, to
communicate to his fellows who he is, what he does and what he asks his life to do!! I wanted them to be elegant and precious, to narrate history, and to speak about the future, to convey feelings and emotions. Many designs that emerge from
different formal, functional and emotional dynamics. Each model has to have its own personal background, dependong on
the person who owns it and has to narrate it through its presence. A luxurious object, because nowadays luxury is a philosophy of life, it is comfort, and it is time that everyday we spend for ourselves in a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, that
is the mirror of our soul. Any piece You may choose will be Yours...unique and unrepeatable..as Your own life.

mercato di massa e si sono sempre circondati di collaboratori dotati di grande buon gusto, cultura del lavoro
e del prodotto. Cosi’ e’ anche “NARCISSE” by Rita Simonetto!! Non rincorreremo mai il facile guadagno, le
aree di produzione dove e’ possibile realizzare prodotti a costi sensibilmente inferiori; saremo sempre fedeli
alla nostra cultura storica, tradizione e sapienza artistica, realizzando le nostre opere in un paese che ha
sempre avuto il rispetto per la qualita’ e per il gusto del bello e per questo apprezzato in tutto il mondo.
Il Veneto, con la sua capitale Venezia, terra d’arte culla di grandi architetti pittori e scultori, ha da sempre
nella fascia pedemontana la sede naturale di questa attività, una tra queste Cittadella, città murata, eretta
nel 1220 vanta grandi tradizioni.
The real creators of the “Made in Italy” have always shown great creativity, have never bowed to the mass
market and have always been sorrounded by emplyees of great taste, of working and production culture.
And so it is for “Narcisse” by Rita Simonetto!! We won’t ever run after easy profits, or production areas in
which it is possible to realize products at significantly lower costs; we will always be faithful to our historical
culture, tradition and artistic wisdom, producing our items in a country that has always had respect for quality
and taste of beauty, and for this reason it is appreciated throughout the world.
The Veneto, with your capital Venezia, has always been the natural home for a wide array of artistic activity.
The region was also the birthplace of great architects, painters and sculptors. Cittadella, a city fortified in
1220, has a proud art tradition.

materiali impiegati / materials
Ogni specchio, liscio, molato o bisellato e’ reso unico ed irripetibile dall’esclusivo procedimento di realizzazione. Le proprieta’ di lucentezza dell’oro e dell’argento si fondono ed integrano con la trasparenza del
materiale vitreo, dando origine a meravigliosi riflessi cangianti. Le decorazioni sono realizzate con cristalli
originali Swarovsky di varie forme, dimensioni e colori. I rivestimenti sono curati da maestri tappezzieri, che
utilizzano tessuti pregiati o pelli naturali di primissima qualita’, ricercate ed esclusive, lavorate secondo le
piu’ tradizionali tecniche artigianali. Eventuali supporti sono realizzati in acciaio cromato, satinato o verniciato, ideati e forgiati pezzo per pezzo.
Each mirror, smooth, polished or chamfered, is made unique and unrepeatable thanks to the exclusive process of production. The properties of lightness referred to gold and silver are melted and combined together
with the transparency of the glassy material, giving rise to beautiful iridescent reflections. The decorations
are made with original Swarovsky crystals of different shapes, dimensions and colours. coatings are cured
by master upholsterers, that make use of fine fabrics or natural top quality leathers, so precious and exclusive, manifactured under the most traditional craft techniques. Any support is made of chrome steel, glazed
or painted, piece by piece designed and forged.

La base di partenza del nostro lavoro e’, come sempre, l’accurata e maniacale selezione delle materie prime. Utilizziamo solo materiali nobili con tradizioni uniche ed antiche, che parlano di storia, ma che grazie ad
un’abile manipolazione diventano contemporanei. Ognuno dei pezzi qui rappresentati ha una sua unicita’
data dalla maestria con cui e’ confezionato e prima ancora dall’originalita’ dell’idea e del design. Ogni dettaglio ha una sua importanza ed una ragione, ed e’ eseguito con grande attenzione ed una cura sapiente. Le
esclusive finiture realizzate con lacche multicolori, lucide e levigate, con foglia oro od argento o ancora con
pelli naturali o pregiati tessuti contribuiscono in modo determinante alla singolarita’ della produzione “NARCISSE” fatta di oggetti unici, ognuno con una propria storia o personalita’.
The starting point of our work is, as usual, a maniacal and careful selection of raw materials. We use only
noble materials with unique and ancient traditions, speaking of history, but also through a skilled manipulation, becoming contemporary. Each of the pieces here represented has got an uniqueness given by the skill
through which it is made, and even before by the originality of idea and design. Each detail has got its own
importance and sense, and it is made with great care and a wise attention. The exclusive finishes made with
multicoloured, shiny and smooth paint, moreover with gold or silver leaf as well as with natural leather and
fine fabrics, significantly contribute to the singularities of “Narcisse” production, made up of unique objects,
each with its own history and personality.

La singolarita’ e l’originalita’ della produzione vengono interpretate soprattutto dalle specchiere “gioiello”,
originalmente ispirate alle opere dei piu’ rinomati gioiellieri della storia. La forma, le finiture e gli accessori
rammentano inestimabili collier o gioielli d’epoca.Le consoles, immaginate e create come supporto, abbinamento o contrasto agli specchi, sono caratterizzate in modo particolare dalle esclusive laccature o rivestimenti in pelle e tessuto. Sono impreziosite da vetri, accessori in cristallo o ricami artigianali. La filosofia
del lusso come segno di distinzione e’ confermata anche dalle poltroncine e dai pouf rigorosamente in pelle
lavorata a “capitone” valorizzata da inserti rifiniti con lacche lucide.
The singularity and originality of this production is shown in the mirrors - “jewels”, originally inspired to the
works of the most famous jewelers in history. Shape, finishes and accessories recall priceless colliers of vintage jewels. The consoles, imagined and created as supports, contrast or not to mirrors, are particularly characterized by exclusive lacquering or leather as well as fabric coverings. They are embellished with glass,
crystal accessories or artisanal embroidery. Luxury philosophy as a sign of distinction is confirmed also in the
chairs and ottomans rigorously in “capitoni” worked leather enhanced by inserts finished with glossy lacquer.
