Imagine a place where students study and perform side-­‐
by-­‐side with legendary musicians like Mischa Maisky, Zakhar Bron, Natalia Gutman, Vag Papian, Abbey Simon and others, all in the breathtaking beauty of the Italian Alps, and you have imagined the Schlern . In 2011, Zakhar Bron, teacher of Maxim Vengerov and Vadim Repin, will join star violinist Sergey Khachatryan and piano maestro Vladimir Krainev in giving master classes and performances, along with excursions to Venice, Verona and Cremona, where historical places are reminiscent of Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Dante, Stradivari, Paganini and others.
