1 Wireless universal dimmer
Room solution for a bedroom
The switches at the bed need to be moved because of new furnishings or a wide new bed. You replace them easily with

Wireless mini transmitter interface
The wireless transmitter interface for push buttons or switches converts the push-button or switching contacts into a wireless telegram:
- When connecting up to four push buttons: the wireless telegram is being sent as long as the push button is pressed (max. 10 s).
- When connecting up to two switches: the wireless telegram will be sent as soon as the contact is closed. When the contact is opened, a
new telegram is sent. Any programming can be assigned when closing or opening the contact.
The transmitter interface can also be used in the Niko Home Control installation in combination with the Niko Home Control RF interface
Easywave.

The wireless window or door contact (transmitter) is used to control wireless receivers. The magnetic contact transmits the status of
objects via wireless signals to a wireless receiver. If the window or door is opened or closed, an Easywave code is transmitted and the

This RF interface Easywave allows you to use the Niko wireless controls that operate according to the Easywave protocol (except for
remote control 05-312) in the Niko Home Control installation. This module can receive radio signals (Easywave), which allows for the

The external antenna is suitable for use with all modular wireless Niko receivers (868.3 MHz) and enables the reception of wireless signals
in a metal electrical cabinet. The antenna is provided with a connection cable (3 m) and a connector.

Diagnostic device
In complex or large installations, the diagnostic device (9 V block battery not supplied) helps you to determine in advance whether the
wireless applications can be used or not. The device will determine the wireless signal strength in a given area and recognise all 868.3 MHz
signals. Nine indication LEDs will display the reception quality of the transmission signal or the strength of the interference signals present.
This way you can check if the range of the wireless transmitter is sufficient.

Diagnostic device
Wireless repeater
The repeater is used in installations with insufficient range and has two operating modes: broadcast mode and defined mode. In broadcast
mode, all received commands will be transmitted. In defined mode, a maximum of 16 control points can be learned. An indication LED
will blink when a command is received or transmitted. The repeater does not work with the wireless receiver for motor control (05-333)
and the universal modular wireless 750 VA dimmer (05-353).

A receiver only functions after the address of a transmitter has been programmed into it.
The programming and the buttons are identical for all receivers.

Programming, teach a transmitter
1. Apply 1 brief (<1.6 s.) press to the prog. button, a bleep signal resounds
2.Use the select button to switch ON the desired channel on the receiver
3.Select the function (see function table) using the
rotary switch
4.Select the relevant times (see time table) using the
rotary switch
5.Press the push button to be programmed on the hand held transmitter or wall-mounted transmitter. This is
acknowledged by a short bleep signal. Different transmitters can be programmed. If the memory is full, you will
hear a long 2 s. bleep tone.
6.If you select a function with 2-button or 4-button control via ‘mode’, you only need to press one of the buttons.
E.g. for mode 1 you only need to press the button at the top or bottom to carry out the programming.
7. Apply a brief (<1.6 s.) press to prog. to end the programming.

Note: Additional transmitters (max. 32) can at any time be programmed on a receiver: repeat
“PROGRAMMING”. If the memory is full, you will hear a long 2 s. bleep tone. The programming is
retained in case of prolonged power failures.
Global reset
1. Apply 1 long (>1.6 s.) press to the prog. button until the special repetitive bleep signal sounds.
2. Apply a second long (>1.6 s.) press to erase the complete memory.
Selective erase, resetting one transmitter
1. Apply 1 long (>1.6 s.) press on prog. , the repetitive bleep signal sounds.
2. Use the select button to switch ON the required channel on the receiver.
3. Press the push button to be erased on the hand held transmitter or wall-mount transmitter. This is
acknowledged by a short bleep signal.
4. Apply a brief (<1.6 s.) press to the prog. button to end the programming.
Manual operation
1. The ‘select’ push button at the front of the device can be used to switch the output on or off. With the 2-channel
receiver the output can be switched for an indefinite period of time in shutter mode. Times are not taken into account.
2. Apply a long (>1.6 s.) press to the ‘select’ button = output ON or OFF.

Switch-on current: max. 30 A / 5 ms. Approx. 4 ECGs can be switched immediately (type dependent). Make allowance for the switch-on current peak of the
ECG. For switching larger numbers a power relay has to be used.
05-331, 05-332, 05-333 Receiver for flush mounting
Putting into service
After installing the transmitters and receivers, the transmitters must be programmed with the receivers. A receiver will only work if the address of a
transmitter has been programmed in the receiver. Test the transmitter before installing it!
Programming
-Apply 1 brief (<1.6 s.) press to the ‘program’ button.
-A light signal starts flashing (f = 1 Hz).
-Program all transmitters that have to work together with the receiver one by one. The correct reception of an address is acknowledged by a long light
signal (4 s.).
-Up to 32 transmitters can be programmed per receiver. When this maximum is reached the LED will keep flashing.
-Apply a brief (<1.6 s.) press to ‘program’ to end the programming.
The programming is not lost in the event of a prolonged power failure
Adding transmitters
Additional transmitters (max. 32) can at all times be programmed on a receiver. Repeat ”PROGRAMMING”.

05-353: wireless, modular dimmer; can also be operated with standard push buttons.
To change the operating mode, briefly press the ‘select’ button. You can easily recognise the mode you want to select by the beep signal (1 Hz short pulse).
1x short beep for 1-push button operation with/without memory;

3x short beep for calling up/programming a light atmosphere;
4x short beep for off with 3-second operating time;
5x short beep for off with time delay (run time).

1. Switch off the power.
2. Mount the three-channel transmitter in the flush-mounting box.
3. Select the desired operating mode using the jumper (J) on the front of the three-channel transmitter.
The three-channel transmitter is delivered standard with switching function (jumper J installed).
You also have the choice of the push button function and the push button function for roll-down shutters. In both of these instances, the jumper (J) is
not installed.
4. Connect the power supply and the switch or push button according to the connection diagram below, depending on the selected operating mode:
