LARGE SCALE EVENTS
The Changi Exhibition Centre sits on a sprawling 30 hectare site along
Singapore’s eastern coastline. With its wide open spaces, large exhibition
hall, multiple function rooms and a uniquely designed mezzanine and

Changi Exhibition Centre:
Event Spaces for
Engaging Experiences
The aviation community set the record for the
largest human formation of an airplane in the
Singapore Book of Records. Over 2,000 participants
took part in the Aviation Run held at Changi
Exhibition Centre on November 2013, raising more
than S$200,000 to help the less fortunate.
Overall Site Plan
Metallica staged a landmark concert in Singapore
in August 2013, after a two decade absence. Over
40,000 local and international fans who gathered
at Changi Exhibition Centre were overwhelmed by
the mega rock concert experience unlike any other
concert ever seen and heard.
Changi Exhibition Centre is the home of the
Singapore Airshow and IMDEX Asia. At the
Singapore Airshow 2014, close to 70 commercial
and military aircrafts were on display at the Static
Aircraft Display Area situated just beside the
main exhibition hall. Visitors could easily view the
impressive array of advanced avionics in fighter
cockpits and tour the plush cabins of luxury jets.
For the bienniel IMDEX Asia, the exhibition halls
are transformed into an integrated show site
that encompass the exhibition, conference and
warship display components. At every edition of
IMDEX Asia, exhibition halls are optimally dressed
into a bespoke venue for high-level and insightful
conferences. The open design of the hall also
facilitated exhibitors to bring in large scale, cutting
edge naval technology and conduct technical
demonstrations to connect key players from
navies, government and industry.
