We accomplish this by learning what the regional farming practices are, and then offering agronomic solutions to meet the differing needs of farmers in the area. The initial result of this strategy is a strong market presence in over 30 countries, and the establishment of regional offices in several key markets. Ownership Philosophy 1. We keep the earnings of the company in the company, so we can grow and not become highly leveraged. 2. We have grown over the years – primarily through internal new product development. 3. We are not a company that changes ownership every few years. Our founder and owner still manages the company. 4. We most often develop our managers from within; they know and understand our industry and our customers. 5. We treat our employees fairly and with respect, resulting in low turnover and a well-trained, motivated work force. “The balance between our two primary manufacturing divisions has kept our company strong through many business cycles.” Linda Salem - President, Great Plains Mfg., Inc.
