Springboard Scholarship Fund Farm Stand All gifts tonight to the Springboard Fund directly benefit Seattle Youth Garden Works graduates who have successfully completed our program assistant position. This fund is to be used for higher education. Please visit their farm stand and make a donation to support these youth. Chocolate Roulette Do you love chocolate and games of chance? This new game combines them both! Bid $12 on a Theo Chocolate bar, unwrap the package, and you may find a $100 bill! Winnings range from $1-$100. Dessert Dash You have to be quick to get the dessert you’ve been eyeing this evening. Each table will collectively place their bids for the dessert to share family style during the dessert dash. How it’s done: 1. Write your bid amount and bid number on the dessert dash slip. 2. Once the donations are tallied, the table that raises the most money gets first choice, and so on. 3. It happens quickly, it’s hilarious and FUN. Be ready, have several options in mind and choose a fast runner! 4. Stick your table flag into the dessert you want, and Herban Feast will slice it for you. 5. Enjoy your treat! Auction Rules 1. All guests must register and secure a bid number. Only bids by registered bidders will be honored. By bidding in the live or silent auction, each bidder agrees to the auction rules. 5. Unless otherwise noted, all goods and services must be claimed and used within a year of the auction date. 6. Please note all restrictions on an item’s use before bidding. 2. Bidders who did not pre-register their credit cards at checkin may pay for purchased items at the registration stations at the conclusion of the auction. It is not necessary to pay for each item after it is purchased; pay only once at the end of the evening. Payment in full is mandatory at the auction. 3. All purchases are final and there will be no exchanges or refunds on items unless otherwise noted. 4. We will gladly accept your payment by cash, check, Visa or MasterCard. Please make your check payable to Seattle Tilth. Generally you may deduct as a charitable contribution the amount you pay above an item’s fair market value. 7. Seattle Youth Garden Works is about more than growing vegetables – it’s about growing self-reliance, teamwork and employment skills. $2,500 funds a stipend for three youth crew members this winter. Each table will collectively place their bids for their dessert of choice to share family style. How it’s done: 1. Write your bid amount and bid number on the dessert dash slip. 2.
