Unsure what she would do after graduation, she enrolled in the Aerospace Internship Program (AIP). Her success in the AIP led to a summer internship and then a full-time position at Skills Inc. “The past two years have had a great impact on my future. When I reflect back, it becomes clear that the education that I received taught me a lot about the person I am today, and the person I’ve been struggling to be. The AIP was a life changing experience and I wouldn’t be where I am today without the help of the mentors and supervisors at work, along with the support of my family and friends.” Read more about Crystal’s journey at http://skillsinc.com/life-changing-internship/ Community Partnerships COMMUNITY EMPLOYERS Strong partnerships are an important component of our success as we strive to promote inclusive workforces throughout our community. Our vocational team works with the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) to provide employment services to DVR clients. We recognize that Skills Inc. is not the right employment fit for everyone, so strong community relationships allow our staff to better understand an employer’s needs and successfully match qualified candidates to open positions within other organizations. Our staff can assist your business with finding qualified candidates. Contact us today at [email protected].
