On June 22, the Seattle Symphony’s Club Ludo 2 reunited Music Director
Ludovic Morlot and Grammy Award–winning Pearl Jam guitarist Mike
McCready for the hottest fundraising party of the summer. With guests
treated to genre-spanning performances by Ludovic Morlot, Mike McCready,
Lukas Nelson, Lychee, The Young Evils, Scribes, the Chris Friel Orchestra and
special guests, the Chihuly Boathouse rocked long into the night. The party
also featured a live auction of once-in-a-lifetime experiences
from donors like Seabourn and Alaska Airlines, a dazzling silent auction, and
a designer-collection fashion show presented by Nordstrom.
Thanks to the generosity of presenting sponsor Cell Therapeutics, Inc.,
major sponsor Nordstrom, and all the Club Ludo 2 sponsors and attendees,
the event raised $140,000 for the Seattle Symphony’s music education
programs, a 40% increase over last year’s event. And thanks to the support
of all the Club Ludo 2 performers, sponsors and In-Kind donors, 90% of the
funds raised went directly to support these programs.
