Ride, power, control. Excellent.
I‘ve owned three earlier John Deere Lawn Mower/Tractors
and found them to be top of the line in power, operation, and
control. Gave them all top ratings. So now that I bought the
Rolls-Royce of tractors, what do i say but Wow! They built this
tractor from ideas, owner response and suggestions. Deere
corporation outdid themselves on this one. I don’t know how
they can upgrade from the X758 Signature Series. It is the
example the others will use and model.

Great power and easy to use.
Had a GT 275 and GT 235 before this X540 and it is like
stepping up to a Caddy. Great mower and easy to steer. No
problems since I bought it over two years ago. My yard is rough
in places and I still get an even cut with the mulch kit. To start
the mower the choke must be wide open when it’s cold and
this is why it blows the smoke when it starts burning off the gas
when choked not oil. Like the power steering, hyd deck lift, and
powerful engine along with all of its other great features. Great
mower and the only other thing I would like is a diesel engine
next time.

This is a great tractor
I have had several John Deere tractors. I traded my 2305
on this 2025 and was very impressed. Plenty of power,
mowing and handles terrain well. Loader works great
,also have a rear snow blower, wouldn’t trade this combo
for anything.

Outstanding Utility Vehicle
Our new Gator XUV550 S4 is a terrific workhorse on the farm
!!! It is incredibly easy to drive, very powerful, comfortable,

DEERE REVIEW 825i
I am on my third gator in 15 years, and I am planning to by
my fourth with a plow and power steering. Great vehicles,
used for putting jet skis in and out of lake, hauling firewood
out of the woods , jockeying trailers around my yard, hunting
transportation, and pleasure use by my wife to visit neighbors.
