Jennifer Rienert Jennifer started her own training with The New Hampshire School of Ballet under the direction of her aunt Suzanne Taylor. Jennifer studied and performed with the school for 18 years. In 1989 Jennifer purchased NHSB from her aunt and proceeded to carry on the family dream of brining quality dance training to the students in New Hampshire. NHSB produces a Nutcracker every season and has an award winning Company. Jennifer’s alumni can be found on Broadway and in major companies throughout the world. Jennifer is on the board of Dance Masters of America (DMA) New England chapter. She is a much sought after Master Teacher and Judge. Deana Corlis Deana is a former student at Mellissa Hoffman Dance Center, where she began student teaching at age 16. After graduating high school, Deana stayed teaching at the studio and became a member of DMA. Eighteen years later, Deana’s unique and engaging teaching style has become a vital part of the MHDC. She teaches Tap, Ballet, and Jazz for all ages and levels, in addition to her work with the Pre-‐School levels. Her choreography has won her numerous awards and recognition on both a regional and national level. Susan Moore Edson Susan’s career spans over 36 years as an award winning choreographer, artistic director, dancer, gymnast, teacher and studio owner. Her teaching credits include private and public schools, universities, and several dance camps. She currently serves on the board of directors for The Dance Teachers Club of Boston and is also a member of DMA. Many of her students have gone on to further their dance careers with the Boston Ballet, Radio City Rockettes, Dance New Amsterdam, Alonso Kings Lines and many others. Her students have won numerous regional and national awards and have been chosen to perform at many Boston events such as Boston Globes kick off event for the Boston’s Most Stylish People. Susan continues to teach student of all ages as well as judge for several dance competitions Michelle Fowler-‐Pinto Michelle has been inspiring and motivating students for over 28 years by sharing her love of dance, appreciation of proper technique, and her positive and proactive approach to life. She teaches Ballet, Children’s Tap, Contemporary, Hip-‐Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, and Modern. She has directed pre-‐professional and competing companies at The Donna Miceli Dance Center in Lowell, MA, Allegro Dance Academy in Nashua, NH, and at The Studio Dance Company in Clearwater, Fl. Her students emerge from her classes as strong, passionate and technically proficient dancers. They have gone on to win scholarships from conventions and advanced academies, performed at Disney, on cruise ships, for the Rockettes, Cirque de Soleil, the Dizzy Feet Foundation, on Broadway, Television and the silver screen. Christina Belinsky Christina is a graduate of Dean College with her AA in Dance. She received her BFA from The University of the Arts, She was classically trained in The Royal Academy of Dance Ballet Technique and continued her training with NHSB, and She studied intensively with The Rock School, Vermont Chamber Ballet and The Ailey School. Christina began her professional career at the age of 18 with Boston Dance Company. She has performed with Contempra Dance Theatre, Perceptions Contemporary Dance Company. She taught Master Classes at Broadway Dance Center, University of New Hampshire, and The Gold School, Pennsylvania Thespians Conference, Dance Masters of New England and for New York Cities Stage Door Connections. Debi Cocco Debi is a former studio owner and has continued teaching through out New England. She is an active member of both Dance Teachers Club of Boston and DMA. Debi continues to study dance and keep updated in the world of dance by attending conventions and seminars on a regular basis in New York and on the West Coast to take class with Master Teachers. She recently was a seminar presenter at The Dance Teacher Web conference in Las Vegas. Her Choreography has continually won many high score and overall awards and she looks forward to sharing her love of dance with all her students. AL Drappa Nick Silverio Nick is a professional dancer, Actor and Singer currently living in New York City. Trained at The Elite Academy of Dance under Lauren Mangano, he attends UPenn’s Whartons School where he dances with Arts House Dance Company. Nick recently performer as a featured dancer on the 2014 National Tour of Elf the Broadway Musical. He has over a decade of regional theatre experience, most prominently La Cage Aux Folles, Beauty and the Beast, The Full Monty and A Christmas Carol. Film / TV credits include The Fighter, Freedom Park, America’s Got Talent and SYTYCD. Kaitlyn Salisbury Alexander is an accomplished dancer who currently performs with Impact Dance Company, a contemporary dance company directed by Megan McCaffery. He has performed with Lostwax Multimedia Dance, and Lorraine Chapman -‐ The Company. One of Al’s is directing Perceptions – The Concert Dance Experience. He established the program to provide high school aged dancers with an opportunity to experience concert dance while exposed to all aspects of a professional company. The company performs annually at Dean College and at the Statue of Liberty in New York City. Al earned his BFA from Dean College. Al teaches Hip-‐Hop, Tap and Contemporary to students across eastern Massachusetts, spreading his love of dance while educating and inspiring. Kaitlyn Salisbury is a native of Rhode Island and currently lives in New York City. She grew up dancing and performing in Rhode Island at Atwood Performing Arts Center, The Gold School and Festival Ballet Providence. She received a BFA from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City with a concentration in ballet. After college she toured the country performing as a principal dancer with Arch Contemporary Ballet under the direction of Sheena Annalise. Kaitlyn has also performed with Synthesis Dance Project under the direction of Tracie Stanfield at the Peridance Capezio Center. Over the past couple of years she has had the pleasure of assisting choreographers including James Alsop and Cris Cangero at Dance Xplosion’s National Dance Competitions. Most recently she has co-‐created a dance intensive in the New England area called MOVE: The Initiative with her good friend Rory Freeman of Shaping Sound. Liz Bishop Coming Soon Kat Pantos Coming Soon Leticia Guerrero A native of Venezuela, Ms. Guerrero received her early training at the Kayla Reecho Ballet School in Caracas. She has performed with numerous companies including Ballet Nuevo Mundo De Caracas, Metropolitan Ballet of Caracas, Minnesota Dance Theatre, Michigan Ballet, Charleston Ballet Theatre, Jose Mateo’s Ballet Theatre and many more. She has created leading roles in Gianni Demarco’s El Amor Brujo, Scheherazade and Azucar, Plotnikov’s Carmen, The Widow’s Broom to name a few. She has performed hundred of leading roles. After her retirement from the stage, she transitioned into the role of ballet mistress with Festival Ballet, Providence RI. She continues to pass on her knowledge to a new generation of dancers. Ms. Guerrero is also on the faculty of Dance Explosion Studio for the Performing Arts, Sally Gould Dance Center, Elite Academy of Dance and Guest teacher and Choreographer at Wheaton College. Taylor Cocco Taylor is a graduate of Dean College where she received her AA in Dance. She was the founder of the Lowell Spinner’s Dance Team. Taylor spent the summer of 2013 as an animation performer for Cirque de Soleil in Boston. She is a gold medalist in the Olympics of dance, which took place in Reisa, Germany. Taylor competed against thousand of other dancers from around the world and also had the honor of performing in the opening ceremonies. She is a member of The Dance Teachers Club of Boston, where she has taught at their workshops. Taylor is excited and looking forward to working with dancers from around the country this summer. Carolyn Breton Coming Soon Rachel White-‐Ball Rachel began her training at the New Haven Ballet in Connecticut. She graduated high school from the prestigious University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-‐Salem as a ballet major. Rachel also trained with the School of American Ballet, the Pacific Northwest Ballet and the Hartford Ballet before joining Boston Ballet’s BBII at the age of sixteen. After retiring from the stage, Rachel served on the faculty of both the School of Dance Connecticut and the city of Hartford’s Dance Program for City Youth. Rachel is an ABT® Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre Primary through Level 7 and Partnering of the ABT® National Training Curriculum; The New York City Ballet as a trainer certifies Rachel for the NYCB Workout. She is certified member of Dance Masters of America in Ballet and is a member of the Ohio Chapter #16 and the Chapter’s annual teacher and lecturer in Ballet Training and Health. Rachel is also the Creator and Director for the Drea’s Dream Dance Convention to benefit the Andrea Rizzo Foundation and also sits of the Advisory Board for the Foundation. Currently, Rachel is a Master Ballet teacher based in the greater Boston area and teaches for many schools, colleges, and conventions throughout the United States and Canada. Ricky Cushing Ricky is an aspiring dancer, choreographer and teacher; He began his training at the age of 9 in Boston. Over the past several years he has been intensely studying Tap, Jazz, Jazz Funk and many other styles. Ricky studied dance arts and choreography at Mary Mount Manhattan College in NYC. After graduating Ricky choose the Los Angeles dance industry for his work. Ricky teaches regularly in the Los Angeles area and dances for numerous entertainment companies. He has choreographed for singer / songwriter Kate Nash. He has the opportunity to work with Solevita Dance Company. He looks forward to continuing his training while sharing his passion with his students. Rory Freeman Michelle Poirier At the age of 18, Rory Freeman was a Silver Award recipient in Modern Dance from the National Foundation for Advancements in the arts, NFFA. He then went on to earn his BFA in dance from SUNY Purchase, New York. This gave him the opportunity to perform pieces by Bill T. Jones, Paul Taylor, Bella Lewitsky, and Luca Veggetti. In 2010 he joined the world renowned dance company, MOMIX, and performed nationally and internationally. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2013, Rory has had the honor of working and performing with companies such as Commonality, Escape Artists, and Royal Flux. In addition, he performed with music artists such as Earth, Wind & Fire, and has appeared in Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off” and Paula Abdul’s “Check Yourself” music videos. Rory had the pleasure of being part of the skeleton crew to create part of the opening ceremonies for the 2014 Winter Olympics. Rory was honored to become a member of Shaping Sound in 2013. He was part of the company’s first tour, performed at the International Festival Dans Encore, the Dizzy Feet Foundation Gala, Reality Television Awards and Dancer Palooza. Michelle is a NYC based dance artist, choreographer, and educator. She conveys messages through movement that is heavily influenced by music, connected sequences, and dynamic changes. Michelle received her BFA from Dean College graduating Summa Cum Laude. She studied Contemporary dance and European dance philosophy abroad in Belin, Germany and at the Laban School in Greenwich, UK. She also attended the Ailey School in NYC. Michelle is an award-‐ winning choreographer regionally and nationally. Jr. Linden JR, was born and raised in Connecticut, began his dance career when he was only three years old and has made it his life’s passion. JR graduated from the Dance Masters of America Teacher Training School at the University of New York at Buffalo in 1998 and received his certification as a dance educator in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz. JR has served as an adjudicator at the regional and national levels throughout the United States and Canada and is a highly sought after master teacher and guest choreographer. He has gained immense experience working for companies including many Chapters of Dance Masters of America, the American Dance Awards, Dance Ovations, Star Systems, Dance Odyssey, Star Quest, Dance Xplosion and the Canadian Edge Dance Competition. Currently, JR is a dedicated and enthusiastic faculty member at Let’s Dance Inc. (Stoneham, MA) and at Melissa Hoffman Dance Center (Hudson, NH). He was also on the faculty for 10 years at Concord Dance Academy (Concord, NH). Stacy Eastman Stacy is the Co-‐Director of GJSOD and has been dancing at the studio since she was 3 years old. She has received many awards for her choreography and is very proud to be carrying on her aunt tradition of training some of the finest students in the New England area. Stacy has traveled to Germany as a competitive dancer and is now one of USA Tap Team coaches as well as being named Miss Dance of America in 1995 for DMA. She is a member of DMA, CT and NYC Chapters. Stacy is also on staff at The Gold School and Perkins School of the Arts. She is a highly sought after Master Teacher and judge across the US and Canada. She loves working with children and hopes to continue to pass her love of dance onto her favorite people in the world, her students! Mary Beth Marino Mary Beth has studied dance at various studios through out Manchester New Hampshire, Boston and New York. She has completed her studies at the New Hampshire School of Ballet from 1991 – 1995. After graduating from NHSB she went to The University of New Hampshire where she was a member of the UNH Dance Company. She received her BFA in Dance with a minor in business, in 1999. While there she received 4 scholarships for dance and was awarded the prestigious Jean Mattox Scholarship for excellence in Dance her final year. She completed a teacher workshop at Broadway Dance Center in 2006 and 2009. Mary Beth is currently a full time lecturer at UNH teaching Jazz, Tap and Dance History. She is an adjudicator on the regional and national level for DanceXplosion. She currently choreographs for NHSB and UNH Dance Company.
