We encourage everyone to sign up or renew your membership with USA Jump Rope
by May 22nd to avoid purchasing tickets on-site through Ticketmaster in Long
Beach. Membership will give you full access to both the Gold Rush Classic and Nationals/Grand Nationals.

Spectator T-Shirts: $15
Additional Athlete Party Passes will be available for purchase for non competing athletes, family and friends for a price to be determined at a later date. Look for this option in your registration packet.

About our Contracted Hotels
USA Jump Rope (USAJR) is excited to be in Long Beach, California. The Long Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Long Beach Convention Center staff have gone over and
beyond our expectations to make our experience and competition a huge success.
We have worked very hard to secure lodging with various hotels in Long Beach. These contracted hotels allow us to use the Convention Center for a reasonable cost. We have toured and
met with each hotel and property that we have contracted with and can recommend them first
hand to our membership. Our use of the Convention Center is dependent upon the guaranteed
sleeping room revenue that the hotels are anticipating from our athletes and their families.
USAJR is contractually obligated to these hotels for these room blocks and must cover them
financially if the room blocks are not met by our members. If you choose to stay in a noncontracted hotel or outside the USAJR room block your registration fee will be higher so that
we can meet our financial obligations. We ask for your support for our tournament by staying at
the contracted hotels.
We realize you can choose from many housing options in Long Beach and appreciate the tournament support you provide when you choose to stay in the USA Jump Rope room block at any
of the hotels listed in this guide. Competitors staying in the USA Jump Rope room block at
these hotels pay the Package Tournament Registration Fee of $250. Hotel confirmation
numbers must be provided with your tournament registration.
Competitors choosing to stay outside the USA Jump Rope room block or at noncontracted hotels will need to pay the Non-Package Tournament Registration Fee of $427.
(to cover the expense of the Convention Center)
NEW THIS YEAR— We will offer a waiver of the off-site registration fees for teams that live
within a 50 mile radius of Long Beach. You will be required to list your address of your residence to be verified for distance.
Please contact USA Jump Rope at 1-800-225-8820 if you have trouble reserving a room in the
USAJR block at the hotel of your choice.
If you have made your hotel reservations before the release date at any of our contracted hotels, please call to have them placed under the USAJR block or the rooms will be considered
outside of the on-site package prices.
Hotel Reservation Cancellation Policy: The deadline for any cancellations or changes to
room reservations under the USAJR room block at the four Headquarter hotels is May 18, 2012.
Cancelation or changes made after this date will be charged for the equivalent of a one-night
stay.
