Colleen comes from Old Bridge in New Jersey. She is the youngest of three children. When she was in high school she was a dancer and later she started to sing in a few local bands. Her musical talent doesn’t stop at singing: she can play the bass guitar and the keyboard, too. Colleen started her career as the lead singer of the punk band Eve’s Plum. The band was quite successful and performed together until 1998. After her band broke up Colleen started her solo career in 1999. She changed her stage name to Vitamin C and performed dance/pop music. The Vitamin C song “Graduation (Friends Forever)” became a huge hit in the spring of 2000. The song reached the Top Ten in the USA and the second position in Australia’s and Ireland’s charts in 2000.
