Not only do our courses cost less than the same course at a university, but being able to stay local means savings on both transport and accommodation. As well as that, we also offer a range of Access to HE courses, one year courses designed to give you the skills and qualifications to access Higher Education if you don’t have a Level 3 qualification. Combine this with small cass sizes, 1-2-1 tutor support, courses that are approved by the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) or University of Derby, and it means not only do you pay less for your course but you get more from it at the same time. While the rules and guidelines for funding in further education are complex, our advisors are on hand to provide you with a full, personalised break down of what fees (if any) you will pay. If you have to pay fees, don’t worry there are still a range of option s available to help you spread the cost. Call us today on 01772 22 55 22 Email [email protected] 8—9 Advanced Learning Loans If you are over 19 you could apply for an Advanced Learning Loan. They are available on a wide range of courses and you won’t have to pay anything back until you are earning over £21,000 a year. If you are aged 19-23 and don’t already have a full Level 3 qualification, you will be eligible for funding via Level 3 entitlement, however, if you are not eligible you will have to fund your course yourself or apply for an Advanced Learning Loan. To qualify for an Advanced Learning Loan you must be: - Aged 19 or over at the start of your course - Enrolling on a Level 3, 4, 5 or 6 course, this includes Certificates, Diplomas and Access to Higher Education courses. You must usually: - Be living in the UK on the first day of your course - Have been living in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man for 3 years before starting your course - Be a UK national or have ‘settled status’ (this means there are no restrictions on how long you can stay) You may also qualify if you’re: - A UK national, or someone with settled status, but you live somewhere else in the European Economic Area (EEA) - An EU national or a family member of one - A refugee - A migrant worker - The child of a Swiss national - The child of a Turkish worker To find out more about your eligibility for an Advanced Learner Loan please call 01772 22 55 22 or email [email protected] PAY IN INSTALMENTS If you don’t meet the criteria to study for free or an advanced learning loan then you could pay in instalments by direct debit. To pay by direct debit your course must cost a minimum of £150 and there must be at least three direct debit payments (a maximum of 12). Your first payment will be made when you enrol so please remember to have your bank details to hand. Further payments will be made on the first of the month. You must finish paying for your course one month before you complete it. OTHER PAYMENT OPTIONS You can pay by card or personal cheque. If your employer is paying for you then we can organise for them to receive an invoice.
