VW - AUDI - SEAT - SKODA Performance & Styling Specialists New Turbo products from JBS AUTO DESIGNS JBS GT35 equal-length turbo kit This is the JBS GT35 Turbo kit using the T3 flange which we offer with either an internal wastegate or an external wastegate set-up (shown) Included in this turbo kit is our T3 flange ST316SS SC40 equal-length manifold (offering the best spool and lowest exhaust gas temperatures possible), custom-built 3-inch downpipe, customdeveloped 4-inch intake pipework including billet MAF housing and a custom-developed 2.5-inch top boost hose. All are available for the T3 external wastegate and internal wastegate set-ups. With this turbo set-up you could be looking at 600+ bhp, as demonstrated on our Skoda Octavia vRS which is producing 602 bhp and 506 lb.ft. It is necessary to replace the standard internals to cope with such high- performance JBS equipment – this turbo kit produces so much power and torque that the standard internals just can’t take it! Here at JBS Auto Designs we can also supply and fit high-performance internals to suit your needs. JBS equal-length twin-scroll turbo kit This is our new twin scroll turbo development for the 1.8T. Two stages are available, the standard turbo version offering up to 400 bhp and a JBS hybrid turbo version offering up to 550 bhp, with full boost between 2750-3250 rpm. Key features include: • Twin scroll design for better response and spool • New more efficient and larger compressor preventing compressor surge • Better pump gas efficiency • Turbine Nozzle Area (cm2) = Large 10.5 hotside, single flapper. A ‘twin scroll’ or ‘divided inlet’ means that there are two separate volutes within the turbine housing, isolating the pulses coming from each exhaust port to maintain more of the pulse energy from each cylinder all the way down to the turbine wheel, so that it responds faster and produces boost quicker. Included in this turbo kit is the JBS custom twin scroll ST316SS SC40 equal- length manifold. Custom-built 3-inch downpipe, custom-developed 3-inch intake pipework and a custom developed top boost hose. JBS IHI kits (Stage 3 shown) STAGE 1 uses the famous IHI VF34 or 22 roller-bearing turbo. Combined with the JBS ST316SS SC40 stainless-steel tubular manifold, it can easily provide power outputs of 300-350bhp. Prices from £1775.69 inc VAT. STAGE 2 uses a custom-developed JBS hybrid turbo (IHI hot-side combined with the cold-side of a GT30), offering the power of a Garrett turbo with the fast spool-up of the IHI unit. This kit uses the ST316SS SC40 equal-length manifold for better pulse distribution and lower EGT’s and is easily capable of producing 370-400bhp. Prices from £2468.95 inc VAT. STAGE 3 uses a custom-developed JBS hybrid IHI-based turbo. Featuring a 49, 55 or 60 lb. per minute compressor and a huge TDO6H sized turbine wheel with an 11-blade turbine head, it provides astounding spool-up response and efficiency and is capable of producing up to 400-500 bhp. Prices from £2880.20 inc VAT. JBS IHI kit (Stage 1 shown) STAGE 1 uses the famous IHI VF34/22 or 16/18G roller-bearing turbo. Combined with the JBS ST316SS SC40 stainless-steel tubular collected manifold, JBS 3-inch custom downpipe, custom top boost hose and custom intake pipe it can easily provide power outputs of 300-350 bhp. With the IHI Stage 1 you can see full boost at around 3500 rpm offering very smooth power and torque curves which will hold power all the way to the red line!
