in pursuing your career goals. We equip you with
the skills and confidence needed to discover your
interests and navigate your career journey from
college to graduation, and throughout your life.
The Career Management Center (CMC) promotes
student leadership and professional development
through career education, and provides connections
to the resources and employers that will help students
realize their immediate and future career goals.

Walk-In Hours
Drop by Huff House between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. on
weekdays during the Fall and Spring semesters for
quick questions about résumés and the job search.
Career Counseling
Meet with one of our counselors for individual
questions about career exploration, connecting
with employers and alumni, resume and cover letter
reviews, interviews, job or internship search strategies
and career planning.
Mock Interviews
Prepare for interviews by scheduling a video-recorded
mock interview. Our counselors provide feedback,
and work with students to strengthen interview skills.

Our advising team helps students hone career
development skills through workshops and programs
including resume, interview and negotiations
workshops with the CMC and with guest speakers.
Personalized Career Advising
Our advisors meet with MBA candidates to discuss
professional background, current circumstances,
and goals as they prepare to help students obtain
a position in their desired field. We also provide
opportunities to participate in mock interviews with
recruiters and recent MBA graduates, offering
feedback to help students develop successful
interviewing techniques.
International Student Support
We offer tailored workshops to help students navigate
résumés, interviewing, job search strategies,
networking and other career-related topics.
We facilitate networking opportunities for international
students through the International Alumni Student
Career Advisory Board (IASCAB), a group of alumni
who have successfully navigated similar terrain.
Peer Career Advisors (PCA) Program
Employer Engagement
PCAs serve as ambassadors for the CCD, reinforcing
the knowledge, skills and resources offered by
the CCD. PCAs provide basic résumé and cover
letter reviews, details about workshops and events,
assistance navigating the CCD website, RICElink and
other career-related resources, career-related insight,
and answers to questions about on-campus recruiting.
We build dynamic relationships with employers
through engagement activities, including Information
Sessions, Receptions, Coffee Chats, Career Fairs and
Treks.
