What’s with the name?
Rum was New England’s most popular trade
item and a favorite drink choice among locals
in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
Ironically, our name has nothing to do with
the famous Latin dance, “the Rumba,” but is
actually a Bostonian’s classic pronunciation of “Rum Bar”
(the ‘r’ in ‘Bar’ being silent).
RumBa pays tribute to Boston’s rich rum history in a lively
rum-themed bar serving bold appetizers, creative cocktails
and an international collection of distilled and vintage
rums. Rhythmic Caribbean and Latin music sets the tone

third time. International laws require anything bearing the label of “Scotch” to
be distilled in Scotland and matured for a minimum of three years in oak casks.
The basic types of Scotch are malt and grain, which are combined to create
blends.
Bourbon is an American whiskey, distilled and made primarily from corn. The
spirit was named after its birthplace in Bourbon County, Kentucky. Bourbon
has been produced since the eighteenth century.
